The d-whistle of european courts. He got a ton of bs calls tonight,Batum couldn't even breath on him and he'd get called. So much for Fiba allowing physical play. What did he shoot,15 free throws?
It's true that he is the D-Whistle of Euroleague.
What is also true is that Navarro is 10 times a better player than NBA MVP Derrick Rose will ever be.
Re: Juan Carlos Navarro "La Bomba" Appreciation Thread
he wasn't good enough to play over 25mpg a game...rookie Tony Parker (at 19) played more MPG than Navarro...lmaooo....:lol
Tony Parker is considered possibly a top 30 European player of all time. MAYBE. Navarro is considered probably in top 3 all time shooting guards in European basketball history.

Just read, Navarro has played with Spain every summer since 1999:bowdown:
Dimitris Diamantidis: "I should not be expected to play for the national team after the age of 30. I am disappointed that they even asked me again, after I announced my retirement. After everything I have given to this national team, I should not be expected to continue. After all, my responsibility to Panathinaikos is my main concern."
Re: Juan Carlos Navarro "La Bomba" Appreciation Thread

Tony Parker at 19 got more burn than Navarro, a proven European Superstar at the time.... The NBA, where the best basketball players in the world play(btw, at least Gasol and his brother had the cojones to stay in America, bwahahahah) is where its at... Navarro would be rendered Mike Conley's sidekick trying to make a comeback....:oldlol:
Re: Juan Carlos Navarro "La Bomba" Appreciation Thread
Posters really need to understand the difference between euro leagues and the NBA.

Re: Juan Carlos Navarro "La Bomba" Appreciation Thread
Navarro is better than 95%+ of all NBA players. Anyone saying otherwise is a complete idiot.
Navarro and Spanoulis are two Euroleague players that could make Team USA A team with no trouble at all. But this forum just bashes on them and says they can't even play in the NBA.
Just ignore the NBA only fan idiots. They know absolutely nothing about basketball.
Spanoulis isn't half the player Navarro is, and he never was...
He never was close to being the best greek player either...

By who? You? Then again you have to remember that no one agrees with you, and that there's a pretty big consensus that you're a clueless moron.

Re: Juan Carlos Navarro "La Bomba" Appreciation Thread
Great player.
His case (and that of many other international players) is a clear example of how different the NBA and FIBA basketball are, in terms of style, coaching, etc.
