Chill with the nostalgia. You can easily make a case for Wade over West. It's much harder the other way around

This guy West went 1/9.
1 FOR 9. If ANY player in the current era ever did that he would never be considered an all time great. Nostalgia is blinding you. Guy is a MASSIVE choker. 1 for ****ing 9, absolutely embarassing. People sh*t on LeBron for losing in 2 of 4 finals lol.

Ok? I just provided multiple reasons why West > Wade and you think it's nostalgia? Care to provide anything other than 1/9 or is that all you can cling onto?

Wade is infinitely more succesful in the finals and has better stats. West stats are inflated in an era where 6'5 elgin baylor averaged 20 rpg. In the current era West's stats wouldn't be near as good as they were. Pretty much all that needs to be said
1 for 9 should be a massive negative on your resume, which it is. Easily puts him under Wade imo. That's one of the worst stats on a legend I've ever witnessed.

Wade has only been to 4 Finals and of the 3 he did win, he was a sidekick in 2 of them. You don't get to conveniently punish a guy for playing in another era. You still have not successfully refuted the stats I posted that clearly put West over Wade. If Wade was so great, why does he have only 2 All-NBA 1st teams? Why has he never made an All-Defensive 1st team? Why has he never been so much as a runner up(never mind actually winning) for MVP?

Much less teams in the league = Much less players = Much more chance to get on All NBA Teams.
Basically much less competition than Wade.

:facepalm
I guess Jordan's opponents were all-time chokers, too. They went 0-6 against him, after all.
But thank you for showing us that Havlicek with his 8/8 trumps everyone in the clutch factor, while West was a choker...

How would LeBron be perceived today if he were 1 for 9 in the finals? He'd never hear the end of it and it'd damage his legacy. Him going 2 for 4 damaged his legacy. No free passes.

Wade played against the 2nd greatest shooting guard ever in Kobe, and a perennial MVP contender in Lebron. He's also one Lebron chokefest away from having 4 rings and being undefeated in the finals. Excuse me for not putting too much stock in the "advantages" you posted for West.
2009 Wade > any version of West

You unknowingly just made even more of a case for West. :oldlol: Fewer players means the quality is going to be much higher, yet he still managed 10 All-NBA 1st teams and 4 All-Defensive 1st teams.

The league was much less popular and there was much less money to be made so naturally there was a far smaller talent pool. And the talent level of the league back then clearly wasn't near today's level :lol
I mean he played in a league with 8-14 teams for many years so there's a much easier chance to get on all NBA teams then playing in a league with 30 teams.
