That's not the deal that is on the table that both sides have showed interest in agreeing to.

The real deal is....

A) East Jerusalem remains in the Palestinian state
B) Israel gets a small potion of the West bank
C) A road connecting Gaza and the West Bank

The people who criticize Israel for their handling of Gaza are the people who need to come up with a different solution. The rocket attacks on Israel need to stop and the constant threat of terrorism that Gaza poses to Israel needs go away.

What is the solution? The solution can't be "stop the blockade". Been there done that. The blockade was a response to the violence, now the violence has to stop and the blockade will be lifted.
It can't be "stop building settlements in the West Bank" (although they do need to stop), the West Bank has nothing to do with Gaza at this time.

So how do we get Gaza to stop posing such a security threat to Israel? Let's hear it.

How about they make more of an effort to stop killing civilians? They arent under any serious threat from Hamas and their rockets. Can you tell me how many people the rockets have killed?

They could easily find the terrorists in a way that minimizes the damage to civilians but they dont seem to be interested in that. How the hell do you even get over a 2:1 ratio of civilians/terrorists killed?

EDIT: There were a bunch of kids playing football killed on a beach last week. Were Hamas hiding on a beach too?
