Re: better dunker at age 34. Kobe or Jordan?
oh ****ing come the **** on lol
i mean yeah jordans a slightly better defender. but kobe did garner an all time record 9 first team all defensive awards, and 12 all defensive teams overall
and kobe is also known as one of the hardest workers and gym rats in sports history
you friggin slimeball
get off your high horse
i'm sure jordan didn't put 4 more years worth of mileage on his legs from just playing slightly better defense
i'm positive kobe spent more hours in the gym practicing aswell
gtfo ya bum
Re: better dunker at age 34. Kobe or Jordan?
This has been debated to death.
It was agreed on another thread that Kobe is a better dunker than MJ.
By raising the age to 34 would give MJ a chance for comparison and that is even questionable. He didn't have many great dunks at that age compared to Kobe.

:facepalm for thinking what makes a good dunker is a free throw line dunk.
They will get you a very low score in a dunk contest.
Re: better dunker at age 34. Kobe or Jordan?
I have to go with MJ here

Didn't Ibaka dunk from behind the line? And they didn't even give the nikka a 50 for the longest dunk in NBA slam dunk history :facepalm
Re: better dunker at age 34. Kobe or Jordan?
Kobe was a better dunker in his 30s than MJ.
Younger MJ, in his first 7 or so years, is one of my favorite dunkers. With Carter being first and Nique being second. Kemp up there as well. Actually Kobe as well, Doc, KJ (less frequent due to his height, but he had a couple of classics).

Re: better dunker at age 34. Kobe or Jordan?
MJ toned down the dunking by the second threepeat.
It's unnecessary wear and tear on the knees (jumping higher means coming down harder on the knees, that's really what kills you as a basketball player).
But he could still get up when he wanted to as evidence by dunking on Mutombo and what not.
