So a person looking to be healthier and improve their body, mind and will power is someone not to be trusted? Thats the kind of thing you hear deadbeat drug addict prostitute transexuals say... oh wait.
@deuce You agree with 9er? :facepalm
There are plenty of trust worthy sober people, lol obviously. Guess what, some people just don't like to drink! Has nothing to do with trusting themselves.
So if you met Neil deGrasse Tyson at some science convention and you found out he doesn't drink you would deem him as someone you can't trust?
I don't trust any human who refuses a heroin syringe.
If they don't trust themselves with that then obviously I can't trust them...:lol
Heroine is an uncontrollable drug; obviously an asinine analogy.
if you cant trust someone who doesnt drink then you take alcohol too seriously.
you probably aint that fun to be around when drinking anyways...
btw guys im at 0 rep right now who wants to be the first to make me green?

? heroin/opiates CAN be controlled and done responsibly
but anyway...lettuce b reality...basing your trust in another human around their drinking habits is stupidity
All kidding and film noir jokes aside, I am weary in my professional and personal life of people who absolutely refuse to have a beer or glass of wine. Typically some very poor judgement is in their past.
Haha why would it even get to the point where they absolutely refuse
"Want a beer?"
"No thanks"
"Cmonnn"
"Nah I'm good"
"Have a fvking drink"
Have you ever been in a social situation?
"You want me to grab you something?
"No, I don't drink.
That happens quite a bit and that guy is typically either very religious or some bad history. I am weary of that.
Interesting topic, though I am struggling to distinguish between sarcasm and not.
I suppose we all come from different backgrounds & environments but it is interesting to hear the differences amongst them. In my own personal experiences, both private and professional, I would be quite surprised to hear of folks being weary, let alone distrusting, on the sole basis as to whether I drink alcohol.
Perhaps I have just been fortunate up to this point (or absolutely oblivious). I never imagined many folks going so far as to hypothesize or assume far-fetched certainties about my character (or lack thereof) as to why I opt not to drink.

more like:
"You want me to grab you something?
"Nah, im good"
"Aight fam"

Exactly. I do have my vices that I've been honest about on here so getting ****ed up is NOT the issue. I just hate the feeling of alcohol. Weeds madd overrated too. Not a big benzo guy either.
Op's are the only drugs I really enjoy the high from. Rollin is coo, Uppers are fun until you crash like a mutha****a. But opiates are the only one that truthfully feel good imo. Other things **** you up but ops truthfully make you feel good.
OK that's a bit awkward if they just say that haha
Most people who don't drink just say no thanks
I don't trust or like people who are prices about being sober
But it's more the price part than sober part
most people i know that don't drink have made it a point each and every time they refused the offer. my guess is because they don't like to be asked. makes them feel like social outcasts. crazy to think that consumption of a type of drink is enough to make people feel this way. that's marketing baby ;)
I don't trust my friend's brother. He refuses all alcohol drinks. I mean sure, in the presence of alcohol, he will have severe allergic reactions that will hospitalize him, but obviously OP has stated a truism.
