[I]Which version of Lance Stephenson is LAC getting, the dynamic 2014 version or the inefficient 2015 version?

Hope that high basketball IQ and sound decision making (sarcasm) in late game situations will over-ride any Paul heroics.
He would play the 3.
doesnt make him an SF
Clippers need to make this gamble.
They are capped out with very limited trade chips. It might not work out but they aren't getting over the top with this squad as it stands now.
Im shocked for anyone who thinks this is a bad deal for the Clippers. They unloaded Hawes who they clearly have no confidence in and was beat out of the rotation by Big Baby. Unreal they could actually get value back for his crap season.
He had a off year last season, but played well on the Pacers where there were more talent and leadership. I think with Doc and CP3, he will be in check. And they can just not pick up his option next year if he is a cancer.
Lance is a playmaker and will help the bench in a big way. He is a solid defender and can create his shot and distribute. They need a guy like him. I think the gamble is completely worth it.

They already did.

I guess the Clippers had to do it.
Barnes is obviously a better player, but like an above poster said, he's old and he'll be done soon. Hawes is terrible.
I think Lance will perform better in a situation like this. He's best suited as the 4th option, and the Clippers seem to be structured - something he desperately needs.

Barnes obviously better?
He's borderline but mostly beta. Stephenson is an energy alpha, he knows how to get emotions out of players.
Yeah, he gets emotion out of guys alright. IIRC Evan Turner beat the shit out of him at a practice last year. :oldlol:
So what do they do with their SF position and for backup bigs? You can't keep trotting out Glen Davis
Barnes obviously better?
Yes. Though, like I said, I anticipate Lance playing better next season in a structured situation - and I doubt Barnes is gonna be giving his all for the Hornets (assuming he plays).
2015 Barnes is > 2015 Lance. One was a cancer and the other was an okay role player.
Huh? Since when is Lance a 3?
lol clippers have put themselves in such a joke position.
Cheers gm doc
They needed more shooting so they get Lance Stephenson.
Doc as GM is hilarious
