Played the game for 4 hours now, and the beginning is so bad. Man wow :lol
Bethesda's writers are the worst in the business.

Loving all the improvements over FO3 / New Vegas so far. It feels so much more of a competent shooter now and the new weapons and gear system is fun. I've only played a few hours so I've just scratched the surface, but it seems awesome.
Seems like most of the criticisms are a classic case of "stop liking what I don't like", while everybody who likes this type of game is enjoying it a lot.

I leveled up my Charisma in the beginning, because in New Vegas i tried to solve Quests with diplomacy and talking, but every single Quest in Fallout 4 thus far was. "Go there kill all the bandits, go there kill all wild beasts, go there kill all etc"
The only use for Charisma thus far is getting more money per Quest.
Huge letdown so far, but the nice world and gun gameplay is keeping me going at this point.
when you get to the silver shroud mission, make sure you talk as the silver shroud as much as possible :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:
Looks like it's between MGS V & Witcher 3, for GOTY.

MGS V will finish out the year as the highest rated game of 2015, just as I predicted :applause:

MGS V ain't better than Witcher.

After finishing both games I'd give the edge to MGS.
Mostly because MGS fits my preference more. I'm just not into RPG's.
I think Witcher had a much richer story but the mechanics of MGS were flawless. It's the type of game I could replay over and over again.
It's definitely my favorite MGS to play but has the worst story of all of them.

Damn, what a turn of events.
And I agree with you on the last point. Snake Eater is a competitor gameplay wise though, great stealth.
So, what are your impressions now?
Fvck Battlefront, think I'm gonna get this.

I think I am about 70% of the way through the main story. The game is amazing if you like bethesda style games.
Im really liking this game. Never played a game like this before.
I start a shit load of quests and just let them be. I have like 12 different ones started right now. :lol
Do y'all build up ALL of the fort/settlement locations?
Damn that would take a lot of materials
building up a big fort seems impossible without using cheats or spending days scavenging for parts.
once i finish the game legit ill probably use the console to add unlimited materials and build something big.
Yea I mean I try to intermittently go back and check on the homies, make sure they good with food, water, defense, etc. One of the settlements (Abernathy Farm) got straight up wiped out and I guess they're dead because I had a notification saying I failed to protect the settlement. Just seems like a lot to keep up with
I shoulda waited to complete some of the Minutemen clearing missions cuz I hate seeing the calls to attention to go re-up with more beds, food, defense and shit.
In retrospect, I shoulda just kept like three going because ain't nobody have time to make 12 baller forts when there's caps to be gained and sons to track down
