Deaths are definitely a lagging indicator.
There will also be a bigger lag since the group of people getting infected are trending younger.

Daily deaths are on it's way up for the last couple of days.
Went from hovering around 300 to 800-900 daily deaths.
Still far from the peak but doesn't change the fact that the trend is going the wrong direction.

If that is the case then that sucks. I will wait for CDC totals in the coming weeks, not Chinese run "World O Meter" numbers :lol
As a side question: How much of these death totals were due to the mass gatherings revolved around saving black lives #ForGeorge ?

Well it's not the same in all states. Believe the red states it's increasing, who's surprised? I got a feeling NY will start increasing as well since they opened the parks back up. I am happy to have my courts back but I got ridiculed for wearing a mask while I played ball.
Before covid-19 55k people A WEEK in the U.S. alone were dying. Why didn’t people care then?
Because it didn't affect the whole world. Just them, you simp.
The media hysteria was telling us the "national nightmare was upon us" - impeachment. And before that our panic was Russia Collusion for 3 years.
2 million children under 5 years old died of pneumonia in 2018, nobody bats an eye
1.5 million die of TB every year, nobody bats an eye
9 million die of hunger every year, nobody bats an eye
500k people ~80 years old die of various causes with suspected cold symptoms and everyone loses their shit
Pretty interesting data.
The whole covid thing blew up because a lot point out that it came from ching. And it has spread out through many parts of this planet.

Yea, I agree with that big time. Also, it's kind of been a shift where the elder is protecting themselves more, so their numbers are going down, whereas young people are protecting themselves less, and so their numbers are going up.

Re: Weekly COVID death totals at an all time low, since 3-14. Can we chill out a litt
Probably because covid19 could have been controlled if the population social distanced and wore a mask for 1 - 2 months. (Like every single country in the world did except for the U.S. and Brazil)
I think you're overrating masks. Not that they don't help slow the spread, but asking everyone to social distance and wear masks wouldn't have eradicated the virus in the US, and certainly not after March. Look at Peru, they got masks and gov't on the streets forcing people to stay inside their homes
Same results as their neighbor Brazil who's leader wants to pretend the virus doesn't exist

The detected cases are meaningless without context. Testing has ramped up and the median age is in their 30s and no symptoms.
US Average number of influenza tests per YEAR: 77,000
US number of COVID-19 tests done in one DAY (July 10): 823,735
Find Florida.
btw what's your suggestion?

At some point, they gonna hit their first wave too. They have over 1 k deaths before reopening. Now it’s 4k and counting. The cases is given . Even flu does not happen in Summer much more a tropical Florida so we shall see if they can flatline the death rate. Hmmmm

If you think masks and social distances doesn't stop the virus, how do you think the virus spreads?
