No one will shut him down but the Celtics have done of the best personnel to defend him. Horford and Grant Williams as the two main guys normally but last night they even used Marcus Smart on him. Rob Williams when healthy is the best paint defender in the league which is the kind of support you need vs Giannis. And it helped that Giannis tried some jumpers last night. Really he should never take a jumpshot but it's tough to resist them when the defense is daring you to do it.

celtics needed it / Bucks did not. (they should of thrown their bench players the whole game , not for half the game)

Just happened to loot it up for shits and giggles. Tatum against the Bucks since the beginning of the 2020-21 season is averaging 30/7/5 on [B]48% shooting[/B] against the Bucks. 15 games as well, so it's not a small sample size.

That also includes his 10 point performance on 21% shooting in Game 3 of their series last season.

So yea, his prediction comes from a place of Tatum hate.

Noone at that level gets shut down, but if he is averaging a point per shot, then you take that any day. He wasn't shut down last night with 24 points, but he took 27 shots which is just garbage level efficiency.

some of those games bucks shellacked the Celtic's and like last night Tatum plays against bench players to stat pad.
