It will be interesting to see how she pans out. Admittedly I don't watch a lot of wnba but her crisp passes, shooting form and just overall swagger is the most NBA-like I've seen from a woman

Yuck.
The issue that some of you can't seem to grasp is that it's silly to proclaim someone is going to be the greatest women's player ever when you have little to no knowledge of the history of their game. I fully acknowledge thatlike almost everyone posting in this thread I haven't followed the careers of people like Diana Taurasi. But if you have not paid attention to these greats of the women's game then you aren't qualified to say Clark is going to be the greatest ever.
Now she will be the most popular ever. In fact she already is. But that's not the same thing as being the greatest.

She may not be the best ever but she is already the most spectacular ever and that's not particularly close. Assuming she continues to progress, it's likely she goes down as the greatest ever.

If flashiness made you GOAT, Kyrie would be the best ever.

Yup... the eye test is extremely strong. She doesn't move slow and clunky like other women's greats. Even taurasi. Her game is smoother and quicker.
There's a reason womens basketball is seeing 10x ratings it ever did. She's actually fun to watch.

I'm interested in all basketball, even women's. Yes, I tried to watch the WNBA even back when they were using a men's ball and scoring like 40 ppg. I don't know every part of the history, but I know a lot of the players, more so an older generation than this generation though, so yeah Taurasi is definitely known.
She's just different. That's all I can say.
I think the assumption of ignorance is a poor one, and if you are basing it only on the fact that people are saying holy crap, it's misguided. I wasn't the only person who was excited about her passing, but I was saying her passing is nuts. If she puts up 20-10 in the WNBA that would be GOAT-like, with the amount of the time she handles the ball. That's very possible. I'm not ready to crown anyone GOAT because a lot can happen, but she has that potential. She is seeing the game differently. I don't really understand how it's possible, but she really is.
She is redefining the sport, no joke. Will she be the consensus GOAT, maybe not, but the thread title is that she is the ****ing truth, and she is. Her game is insane. It's worth watching.
I gotta say most of you people who are saying she's not gonna do it won't watch her, so it's weird. Haha. I like to catch the games and see what she's doing. Like I said I've seen women play basketball before. I am not an expert, but I've seen enough.
Every time someone says 'holy shit, it's real!' it's not hyperbole. It's real. There's a reason people are excited about her, but the astounding part of her game is not her 35 footers. She can definitely grow a lot. I agree with announcers who said she has no real inbetween game. But she is a hell of a PG and primary ballhandler. She's handling the ball more than anyone in the WNBA as a rookie.
Edit: Plus, don't you guys wanna talk about something unique? Something that's not Bron or MJ? This is it. Sure, it's women, but it's interesting. I would recommend you dudes watch her play. It's not 'dick riding' or whatever, but just enjoy it.

When it comes to the argument of whether or not she's the greatest ever that's an argument you would be having with someone else if you ever have it. I'm just going to assume that the GOAT is someone with several MVPs and championships. If she gets that you can find some real wnba fans and have at it if it should really be argued. If she doesn't then you really ought not be acting like she is the GOAT just because she is the one that finally got you interested. So far from what I'm given to understand Candace Parker and others were better rookie so she not on pace for that.

Probably has a bigger fan base than any male player outside of Lebron and Steph tbh. Maybe Luka.
