We can live with marijuana being illegal, we can also live with it legal. We can live with abortion illegal, or legal. We can live with people buying guns at age 17, we can live with them buying guns at 21. It all functions either way, it's just a preference of what society wants.

And all of the major issues are very complex, none of it is black and white.

No, for me personally this is about Conservatism vs Liberalism

Is the country not liberal enough as it is in 2024?

Do you want to teach your children how to become more liberal or more conservative considering where we are in today’s Western Society?

Societies all over the world will become more and more progressive as time goes by, regardless of who is in power. It wasn't that long ago when Hillary Clinton was protesting against gay marriage. Trump today is more liberal than Hillary from the 90s. Conservatives today, are more liberal than the hippies of the 60s.

And 30 years from now? It will be no different. Conservatives will have finally caught up to today's liberals.

Liberals are trying to advance too quickly, and society is not ready yet. Trump is society saying "whoa whoa, slow down there young ones, we need a second to catch our breath, but we will catch up eventually"

At one time allowing blacks to be free was crossing a line. Most of the country couldn't even fathom it. Then allowing women to work or vote was out of the question.

Progression is a never ending battle to beat ignorant people like yourself. And you guys do your best to delay it, but impossible to delay forever as society becomes more advanced.

Yea I don’t think I’m ever gonna get on board with sex changes for children…. Nor should a child be allowed to make that decision, let alone the parents.

I don’t think that’s society advancing… I think that’s signaling the moral decline of society.

Conservatives have no problem accepting the mental conditions some of these people may have… there’s no oppression.

But force us to celebrate it as if it’s an achievement… not doing it.

Also I’m sure as hell not getting on board with men dominating women’s sports… you can call that society advancing all you want, I’ll call it for what it really is: insanity, and shame for real women.

Women's sports issues are the opposite of "extreme". If that is our main concern we are near utopia.

Nuclear families are declining because birth rates are. Nothing to do with politics. Divorce rates are actually better than ever, they have been declining. They are about half of what they were in the year 2000.

We just don't need to have children anymore like we used to. Most of us don't have farms that need working hands. Society is advancing past that and eventually we will be growing babies in test tubes that have perfect DNA and injecting them into women. And all of this "extreme" stuff you're talking about will be nothing.

Trump isn't going to magically make everyone have kids.
