Jokic loses to the warriors despite dropping 56pts

The Nuggets playing like absolute is not the fault of the guy who is elite, not decent, not good, not great, elite at almost everything on the offensive side of basketball, and then still elite at some on defensive(deflections, box outs, and defensive rebounding).

guy is talking out of his ass. if jokic was even halfway decent on defense, they would have beat minnesota last post-season.

If Jokic was as bad on D as you say he wouldn't have the best +/- in the league by far.

Against the Cavs the announcers said that for the season Denver was +12 with Jokic in the floor, -17 with him off the floor.

I know you hate him, but why make it so clear that you don’t watch him. Tonight, on a back to back, in the 3rd he put up 16 2 and 2 with a steal. If that;s what you do when gassed, I’ll take gassed. And the no D thing was true three years ago. He is now a better than average team defender with some significant weaknesses when isolated.

48/14/8 after playing 39 minutes last night.

He's having to do more but we're also seeing what a high-level passer can do for Jokic. Never seen him get so many good post-entry/roll passes before.

Jokic is the best player in the league by a lot right now.

...Let's be serious here, you don't know how to analyze a players defense. Jokic's defensive mold is that of Chuck Hayes or Zaza Pachulia. It's a lot of positioning all over the court, hand speed, pick and roll D, and affecting the rebound margin with box outs. Only Jokic doesn't just box out like those guys, he can actually grab boards simultaneously. Which is really something I've only seen dominant defenders and freak athletes can do like Gobert, Howard, Wallace, KG, etc do.

But Jokic, actually does this. He's a pretty good defender if anything. Calling him less than halfway decent is a braindead, emotional take.
