i don't understand what the end goal is for booker. waste his prime in phx? do the suns want to hold on to the only player that can sell season tickets? because he sure as hell is not leading this team to the playoffs.
Yeah I have no clue. Suns are run by idiots.
Golden State exposed him. Hes mid. KD is like a top 25 GOAT.
He's like 21 though Suns have 3 starter level SGs now beal book green what are they thinking?

I dont think they give a ****. Just blowing it up at this point. Hopefully Booker goes to a contender because hes shown some crazy performances on the playoffs. And Team USA considered him top 5 player.

He's 23 and hasn't really shown any major signs of improvement.

I don't know what you mean?

"The Heat made multiple offers for Durant but ultimately turned down the opportunity to place Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmith, the No. 20 pick and other draft assets in a deal, sources said," wrote Charania on Sunday.

unfortunately they are not trading booker. they already promised him a 2 year extension this summer while he's barely on year 2 of his contract :facepalm

Ugh, same. Guess I'll at least go see him while hes there though.
Re: Durant traded to the Rockets.
If suns can draft Khaman Maluach that would be great. Hoping he lasts til 10 requires some luck. The only other “big” would be Derik Queen but he’s not a rim protector/rebounder. He’s a nice talent to add tho at 10.
I’d ask Beal where he wants to go and get rid of him. Take pennies on the dollar. You screwed up adding him. You then went out and got Jalen Green. Booker/Green backcourt? Looking at suns roster I’m not seeing a whole lot of promise. Seems like not too long ago they were trending up.

Id think tey look to trade the pick. Beal isnt going anywhere. Need to look to win now
Re: Durant traded to the Rockets.
Had some fun with the numbers:
I swapped out Jalen Green's 21.0 ppg on 54.4 TS% for Kevin Durant's 26.6 on 64.2, adjusted for 82 games and true shot attempts (TSA), and added +302 points to HOU's season total of 9372. 9674 pts/82 games for a 117.97 ppg total. Call it 118. Then, 118 ppg/98.6 pace = 1.197 x 100 = 119.7 ORtg. That's +4.4 on 2024-25 HOU's 115.3 (+0.8), and a +5.2 rORtg.
Durant's obviously not going to play 82 games, but it's cool to see the numeric difference an elite volume scorer has on a team's bottom line versus a very bad one. Addition by subtraction, and addition by... addition. Big net swing.
Re: Durant traded to the Rockets.
All depends on health. Houston didnt give up a ton, but they also didnt give up nothing. If Durant stays healthy hes a huge ceiling raiser on this team. If he doesnt stay healthy, they got no other assets in return so it kinda screws them.
Maybe they oughtta put some pre-emptive bolts and screws in his legs just to be safe.
Re: Durant traded to the Rockets.
Beal makes so much money that trading him might not be possible. Only teams that would want him would be LA, a contending team that's not really good enough with an old superstar that makes pressure to make a move now. But even the Lakers would have a hard time matching the money sensibly. Remember that when the Heart were finally moving Jonny Butler Phoenix couldn't get into the mix because Miami didn't want him. Who would want Beal that could realistically match 70 mil? And then he has the right to say no?
Phoenix should just make nice with him and take the colossal L.
Re: Durant traded to the Rockets.
Has there ever been a trade that took place while they NBA Finals were still being played?
