Re: Schumer forces name change for 'big, beautiful bill' moments before it passes
I never want to hear about fiscal responsibility or DOGE from any Republican again. Anything they saved went into massive historic taxcuts and insane increases in things like ICE funding. What the hell does ICE need 150+ billion dollars per year for? More than total military budget of every country other than US and China.. Our military budget is also going up past a trillion.
Medicare is going to be impacted too. "The legislation allows more medications to be exempt from Medicare’s price negotiation program, which was created to lower the government’s drug spending. Now, manufacturers will be able to keep those prices higher."
Adding 3.3 trillion to the debt. Whatever happened to using "fiscal responsibility" as a counter-argument and goal?
Mostly crickets in this thread from MAGA on this board after this bill passed (a couple of personal attacks but no defense of the bill). Where you at, MAGA??
Did Trump cut deals for you too to fall in line like Republicans in both houses?
Do you still live with your parents and struggle to cover the 100 dollar internet bill even while you pay zero rent?
Re: Schumer forces name change for 'big, beautiful bill' moments before it passes
if you really needed it, you would have taken it.
yes, there are people that take advantage of it, don't need it, can do without it, etc.
but the people that indeed need it shouldn't suffer or be inconvenienced because of those bad apples. people with health issues and disabilities go through enough trouble, stres and frustration in their lives, a lot more than you or i can even imagine. i witness it first hand, everyday.
cutting that shit out from under them is just straight up *ucking wrong. wanna reform? then reform. but don't cut it out on a whim just to please your donors with their tax breaks.
i don't get how anyone (that's aware enough, which is most of you here are) can go to bat for this bill. it's an absolute pile of dog shit.
We're at a point where people don't care for policies anymore, but just who's policy it is.
The same bill by the Biden admin would get criticized by the same people that applaud it now and the other way round.
People change their opinion just based on what's the agenda of the day by their team.
You’re fat
There is nothing more disgusting than a 400 lb person living off the government's dime.

Medicaid is paying for your birth control, anti-depresants, and therapy? WTF?
400 lbs and you're on food stamps.
B*tch the only therapy you need is a $20 a month gym membership and a keto diet.
New Rule: It's no longer "if you don't vote you have no right to complain".... Now it's "if you weigh 400lbs you have no right to complain"
