This is not a war against a people, it's a conflict over land and security. Those things happen in life, they have throughout history. Gaza is poor, has different social values than Israel, and reproduces by a factor of five each generation. The conflict will never end if they remain there. What is the point of having millions of people crammed in squalor living in poverty and becoming terrorists, just to say you avoided a war? How is that even a better outcome?

Both sides have conflict with each other, have provoked each other, and now it's war. Thats life. Just because Israel is Shaq compared to Palestine being the guy getting posterized, doesnt mean Shaq committed a foul. You dont punish him for being bigger and stronger. Torturing opponents unnecessarily during war would be wrong and condemnable. Sexual crimes would be unacceptable. If those things happen in isolated incidents, condemn it all you want. But otherwise this is two competing claims to land, and a war is resulting, and the only reason YOURE living a first world lifestyle in America is because people before us fought and won the exact same kind of war.

Palestinians are not a specific ethnotype. Theyre Arab and the Arab race aint goin outta business any time soon. But Gaza itself is a breeding ground (to say the least) of squalor and terror and poverty. Israel has to take control of it and some of the weak may perish but the strong Palestinians who survive the war will be able to return one day to a nicer, rebuilt society.

bullshit aside, i can respect your two cents as you seem to acknowledge that israel does indeed have ulterior motives despite what's being parroted by their government and media, including us media... that this isn't primarily or even secondarily about getting back the hostages and "destroying hamas", which btw is a totally impractical objective aside from killing off the leaders responsible for the oct 7th attacks and re-securing their borders that they themselves very likely [I]allowed[/I] to fail on that terrible day; but instead about expelling and in the process mass murdering palestinian civilians, majority children, in pursuit of expanding 'greater' israel and pushing said population out of what's left of gaza into the sinai desert and surrounding arab countries. and it's not only in gaza by the way where this is happening but the west bank albiet at a slower and more modest pace as well, which is important to note, was never under hamas rule and has little to nothing to do with this current conflict. so add in that population and that puts the total number of people set to be expelled and murdered (at whatever the rate may end up being depending on how much of a fight is put up with sticks & stones) closer to five million if this scenario does indeed play out. which by the way is indeed ultimately probable given the proper time and resources (a lot of our resources btw) and don't even get me started on the inevitable regime change set to take place in iran which will unquestioningly involve us, something which i'm sure you have something to say about as an american who''s in the know about our modern era foreign policy blunders. all of this is madness btw is said in a straightforward manner by israeli cabinet officials and has been a vision for the likud party for decades now - the attack on seven october gave them the excuse to finally carry it all out.

in the midst of all of this chaos, depending on how informed or biased one is, in the event that it objectively and technically [I]isn't[/I] a genocide, one could be forgiven for labeling it as such, though i do agree that the word is tossed out way too loosely and in the process loses it's meaning and impact.

so in summary anyone that's been closely following this conflict with any modicum of intellectual honesty, even on the pro-israeli side knows what's really going on here - the issue i have with those people is their unwillingness to acknowledge it. anyone with an iq close to a hundred should be able to connect the dots unless they're absolutely trapped in their media bubbles or straight up just don't want to defend it which is understandable due to the fact that they know it's indefensible on a moral level. but if you support it just f**king say so and i can at least respect that, which seems to be the case with you. maybe you can clarify that unless you're already ghost from this discussion.
