Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
I think his peak will be 30 minutes a game off the bench averaging something like: 18/3/3 on 46%/42%/88%.
Glad I was wrong.
At least I was close on the %'s? :oldlol:

Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
Have you guys watched Curry this year? First off based off watching him this year, I doubt he will have any problem being a point guard in the NBA, and based off his shot-making ability if he is not the ROY I will be surprised. I can't believe people here are comparing him to JJ Reddick and Boobie Gibson.
We'll see I've already bookmarked this thread. Whether I'm right or wrong I'll bump it about a year from now.

Can't believe I forgot to bump this thread. I may have been wrong about the ROY, but had Curry stayed healthy I sincerely think he would have been ROY in 09-10, and who would really take Tyreke Evans over Steph today?

I always love seeing these prediction threads because you know 80+% of the posters making the predictions don't know what they're talking about.
What does the "on crack" version of another player even mean?
Crazy eyes and a tendency to steal or prostitute himself.
Curry has an amazing stroke. If he ever gets his ankles fixed he could be the 2nd best player on a contender.
This thread is the perfect example of ISH. Hindsight is 20/20 and nobody likes to admit when they're wrong or give credit when somebody is right
I've been chastized for saying:
Wade Peaked in 04
Griffin is a glorified dunker
Bosh will be reduced to a 3rd option player and won't even succeed at that
I think Curry has peaked personally. This is as good as he'll get IMO. I'd bank the franchise on Harrison Barnes and Steph as a second fiddle scoring option a la Garnett/Marbury. I'll take my shots now.....
When you make 100 predictions, you're bound to stumble upon 1.

Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
Dion Waiters is the next Dwyane Wade

Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
One things certain, most of ISH is awful at predicting how players careers turn out.

To be fair, he has the potential but he's too stupid and too cocky to reach that level at the moment.

Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
Classic Bump ( one of the many about Stephen Curry )
who would have thought PleezeBelieve of all people called it , along with Skip Bayless :lol
Like you couldn't even conceive Curry being MVP of the entire NBA . Just hard to predict that type of development.
Based on the time I really like the Mike Bibby comparison
-
Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
Curry is the perfect example of why skills and hard work over "potential"
if aau coaches actually put time into developing player skills instead of just trying to gather all the best athletes on the same team then we would as nba fans would be better for it
Curry wasn't even rated in the top 100 coming out of HS..
