Most phones can do a lot of the same stuff, the difference is in how well they do it.

What is it that the blackberry does better? I personally have an android phone and I've never had trouble doing any tasks, so I'm just curious.

I wouldn't call myself an Apple fanboy and I could care less about the Apple vs Windows crap, but I do love this phone.

I waited for a while for that too but I got fed up and just put a custom 2.2 rom on my phone. It runs great and is very stable if you're interested.
Waiting for a worthy upgrade to my Rezound.
Can somebody give me a brief smartphone/android "for dummies" lecture?
I'm still using a flip-phone from nearly 7 years ago. I can't afford to go on a monthly plan but a prepaid smartphone would be nice. I'm on ATT prepaid plan at the moment. $25 every 3 month gets me through so far but I kinda want to be able to browse the Internet on-the-go and have a much better digital camera too.

my friend just got his yesterday, i played around with it a bit it's pretty nice. it's only 100 bucks right now and comes with a free wireless charging pad. also has the best cameraphone in the game currently
iPhone 3g :lol
Not gonna switch unless this shit dies forever. If it dies right now, I would probably just get an iPhone 4s. I'm not a fanboy, though. I just don't wanna use other phones because I don't wanna try to get used to that phone again.
iPhone 4 32GB

Don't just don't, people look so ridiculous walking around talking with that phone.
I got iPhone 4s.

Android = LeBron
iPhone = Kobe
Windows 8 mobile = Durant
Give me the iPhone.
iphone 4. keeping it simple. probably won't worry about upgrading for another generation or two. i think it is ridiculous that people are willing to buy an new phone every year, if everyone has one much of a status symbol can they be?
iphone 4, dont find the need to upgrade to the same phone for more money...
100??
there has to be some contract attached to it for 100 bucks...
2 yr contract with AT&T. I'm actually looking at getting this right now, does anyone know of any good review sites aside from engadget?

Just go onto YouTube and watch comparison videos. Like nokia lumia 920 vs samsung galaxy s3, etc, etc. TO see how it matches up with other phones.
I feel this works out better for me rather than watching the reviews of just the phone by itself without anything to compare it to.

showing it's age, still living off of past glory and reputation, hasn't added anything new to his game. yup, you are right about the iphone. i'll take the current best or the up and comer over the has-been.

I got the 16 GB iPhone 4 still. I might upgrade to the iPhone 5 at some point, but I doubt it'll be anytime within the next month or 2.

HTC Droid DNA my man !
I decided to go with a little bit of a risk on go with a phone and OS that I'm not familiar with, but would love to try. I'll be waiting for my Lumia in the mail coming hopefully sooner rather than later.
On a side note: fuck Metro PCS. I tried to transfer my number to AT&T, but needed some 8 digit code from Metro. I called Metro and they said I couldn't get that 8 digit code until I gave them the 4 digit high security code that I personally never set on my account. Upon telling them that they said I had to get it from a store, go to the store and they say I had to go to a corporate store which was 40 minutes away. I decide to say screw it, not worth the trouble I'll just get a brand new number.

That "8 digit" code your talking about is the account number. You need it to transfer your number and your pin/password which is usually your birthdate. You receive the account number in your bill texts every month. I own a 3 party cell phone store.
I got a iPhone 5 and just got the Note 2 which is my favorite phone.
The best SMARTphone out there. Galaxy S3. With jelly-bean.
