See what I mean, I'm a Spurs fan at heart and hardly anyone knows it. Before I started posting on the OLD insidehoops board, I camp around on the ESPN board and the Ezekiel board but the ESPN board got annoying because I would always have to log in in order to post and there are too many retards there. I'm also a regular at Spursreport.

Ehhh, a lot of people just come here to read stuff, and not post. Just because they lack posts, doesn't mean they aren't a true fan.

Just because I don't rant about my team 24/7, doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I try to stir up Spurs topic in the past but people here don't really seem to care about the Spurs so I stopped trying that.

Don't be so quick to descredit this statement.
This is not a jab at one particular person but as GoBB so eloquently puts it, there are so many flipflop fans on here. Not that there is a problem with it. Many people are great basketball fans but don't follow one team. But some hop on bandwagons claiming "their" team, but when the success fades, so does their loyalty (me remebering Golden State at the end of '05 season).
Compiling this list will also give an accurate fanbase for newbies who may follow a team and know whom to conversate with.
The whole Utah phenomenon is a prime example of todays game. Where the faulk were you guys last year? I honestly beleived this was the only team on ISH that didn't have a fanbase. Now it's like they had followers the whole way through. I say, if your a loyal fan of the team, you should talk em up even more when they are down.

Damn, I should've known I'm not a real Utah fan. GeeWiz doesn't know me and I don't have the time to throw wild tantrums every time someone talks smack about the Jazz. I haven't even started a "XYZ from the Jazz should be MVP" thread.
How on earth did I ever believe I've been a Jazz fan for these past 10 years and that I've been talking with fellow Jazz fans on this board and the successor board before even before the famous "12-1 run" that instantly transformed us into bandwagoners?
Thanks for clearing that up, mate. Now I can get back to wearing my Lakers hat again and leave the "hardcore fan" part to people with enough time on their hand to flood the forum with 20+ posts per day.

and the [B]clippers[/B] (since the days of magic, specifically 1985 when i couldnt get laker tickets without selling plasma) i started going to clips games in the old sports arena when there were only 4,000 people there and we could wander down to the expensive seats and the ushers wouldnt give a care. to me, its those 4000 people who are the hard-hard-core clipper fans--- very rowdy/ very loud since the 80s
