I believe he can become a good nba player, but that video did less than convince me.

Lietuvos Rytas (Valanciunas team) is played in Euroelague and VTB aswell, not only LKL, and Valanciunas was decent vs Euroleague teams aswell.

There are videos like this EVERY year on Euro players that make them look good and they never turn out to actually be good. Not sold until I see him perform in the NBA.

Seems like this kid is getting by on his potential. After watching this video, it looks like he's doing pretty well in a pretty shitty league. He's extremely raw at this point, and if you're taking this guy in the top five, it just shows how bad this draft really is. I hope the Raptors stay away from him.

Wtf did you see in him? He made some close shots around the basket, and contested some shots at the other end, was pretty much just another big tall guy. He's post moves considered of awkwardly backing down and finishing with a job hook, no way he'd be able to do this in the NBA as his body just doesn't have the strength by the looks of it. Are you trying to sell me on the guy or help me prove my own point? My point being that it's hard to be impressed with video clips against boney defenders, not that this kid isn't good. I'm just saying it's hard to take something impressive away from the video clips being thrown around. It doesn't matter to me that players with similar stats have come to the NBA and been successful because players with better stats have come and fell flat on their faces.

I watched all the final games (I am from Lithuania), Valanciunas' team lost series 4-1 to my hometown team Zalgiris :pimp: , he was the only threat inside for my team tho.

He can become great player, all-star level even, but he may be the bust aswell, noone can guarantee, I am leaning towards solid player, but non an all-star. You are hyping him way to much.
