Did you ever watch Fernandez or Navarro play or you just look into stats?
Luke Ridnour is the PG of the worst team in NBA
Apparently you don't either. Ridnour would be a very good back up PG which he is going to be now.

good now they can trade him
bahahaha god I love this site. Some of the rubio haters whove never watched him play make me laugh
I think that people are just saying he's overhyped -- which is absolutely true. I watched him playing in the 2008 Olympics, the only sample he has against NBA competition. Truthfully, I'm less than impressed.
Rubio did throw some nice passes and displayed good court awareness, but I absolutely do not think he'll be able to do the same things on a night-in-night-out basis in the league.
He has no physique/strength and will get abused defensively by just about every point guard he goes up against. He doesn't have quick enough feet to stay in front an average (or even below-average) guard, so you have someone who cannot be counted on for major minutes -- too much of a liability.
When teams actually get a chance to scout him properly, those pin-point passes are going to be much, much harder to pull off.
So, if he is a huge liability defensively, and will struggle to get his passes through, what exactly is he? How will he help the 'Wolves?
It will be interesting to see what happens, and I would like to be wrong about this kid, but I don't think that I am.
basically, its the same roster from last year with but with the addition of an overrated piece of trash PG.
Derrick Williams is nonexistent eh?
:oldlol: at coming back 40 minutes later to edit that post.
Derrick Williams is nonexistent eh?

Derrick isn't even on the Wolves radar.
Johnny Flynn needs to get the **** out of Minnesota as soon as possible. He had a great rookie year, then the injury slowed him down. Now he is playing behind Luke, and next season, he will also have to play behind Rubio. I can see him getting only 10 minutes per game.
One of the worst players in the Euroleague, clearly one of the worst point guards in the Euroleague and this idiot Kahn can't wait to sign him?
It's official. David Khan is the worst general manager in US sports history.
Say what you will about Ricky, but you can't deny that he's always looked at least solid against Team USA. He even had some spectacular moments against them.
Team USA is known as one of the worst defensive national teams in the world. He sees about 5 times harder defense in Euroleague.
Derrick isn't even on the Wolves radar.
Why? Because he's going to be better than Beasley?
He's sure much better that Ridnour .I think that people see him trough Navarro ,Calderon or Fernandez but i don't see that he's ever gonna be as good as those guys.
Fernandez is not that good and never has been. But as good as Navarro? No. Rubio will NEVER be half as good as Navarro is.
Calderon is also much better than Rubio is.
Rubio might possibly develop into the level of player that Fernandez is.
Ridnour is right now a much better player than Rubio is. If Rubio learned to shoot then he would be better than Ridnour, but as of right now, Rubio is the worst shooting perimeter player in the entire Euroleague.
Better than Ridnour, but worse than Navarro or Fernandez? Ridnour's worst season is better than anything Fernandez or Navarro ever did in the NBA.
Navarro is 10 times better than Ridnour.
bahahaha god I love this site. Some of the rubio haters whove never watched him play make me laugh
The Rubio lovers who have clearly and obviously never seen him play (like you) are good for a real big laugh.
He's just a role player, not that great, but he is a starter in this league for nearly a generation.
The thought of Navarro or Fernandez consistently starting on any NBA team makes me nauseous. Navarro chucked it up one season and knew he wasn't NBA material. Fernandez can't even get consistent playing time even though he is basically the only healthy player on the Blazers.
Saying Ridnour is better than Navarro is grounds for immediate banishment.
that article should have mentioned Rubio was getting no PT for Barcelona, so no wonder he chose to take the TWolves offer.
I just don't get how a dude who can't even start in a euro league, and gets awful stats can be some sought after player and hyped in the NBA :wtf:
Because the NBA is actually about 1/3 as good as people in the USA think it is.
At least Minnesota will be the hottest team on ISH, cause every time Rubio makes a bad pass, takes a bad shot, or has a turnover EUROLEAGUE will open a thread about it. :oldlol:
Not a good decision by both Rubio and TWolves.
Rubio played bad this season. I've seen some of his Euroleague games live. He is for away from being able to make an impact in the NBA. Twolves are gambling.
rubio sucks
Rubio is the next Pistol Pete.

The kid needs a new challenge and the NBA floor is much more open, especially in the regular season. His competition in Minnesota is crap. Good starting conditions, but at the same time passing first point guards from Europe have always struggled in the NBA, because it is tough for a player from overseas to be accepted as the floor general by proven American pros. Look how long it took Nash or Billups to find their spots.
I just hope (for the sake of them) they don't pick Motiejunas or Valanciunas on this draft. They smell like busts to me. If they are going euro they should pick Vesely. He and Rubio would be nice duo for alley oops

Euroleague scrubs and even players that cannot even play at the Euroleague level are going in the NBA lottery and are being coveted and drooled over by the NBA for several years now. The talent standard of the NBA has become incredibly low.

I have no doubt that Rubio can start for the Wolves and that he can put up better numbers in the NBA than he did in the ACB and Euroleague. I also know for a fact that he is a terrible player and the Wolves should be removed from the league because they are becoming such an embarrassment to the NBA.
Euroleague:roll:

That would be yet another proof of Khan being retarded. Vesely is not a good shooter and not good at creating his own shot. Sure, he is much better than Valanciunas and Motiejunas, but he is not that good on offense.
With Rubio, you have a terrible offensive player, and are basically playing 4 on 5 on offense. Teams don't even guard him. They leave him wide open and unguarded the entire game and he still can't score or shoot.
Having him along with Vesely, who is really a defensive specialist and a open court/lob dunker would be a really anemic offense.
Kevin Love might set an offensive rebounding record playing next to Rubio.

Wolves fans actually can't wait to have one of the worst players in the Euroleague as their starting point guard and are excited about it. That is pretty much proof of how pathetic that organization is.

You are obviously about 10 years old. You earned an ignore.
Navarro is far better than Ridnour on any court or league on the planet.

Stop embarrassing yourself. Rubio is a big joke in Europe. People just laugh at him he is such an awful player. Have fun with him. You are the type of joke fan that deserves to have such awful players on your team.
And you will either disappear or pretend you never claimed he was good. I don't know which is funnier - that the Wolves and their fans depend on one of the worst players in Euroleague to save them - or that they actually seem to believe that he can.
The Wolves should definitely be subtracted from the NBA, because they are just a total joke.

Lmao, look at this cat. You talking about the Navarro who got his butt kicked out of the NBA in one season? That Navarro? Sucks. Another example of a Euroleague star who can't hack it at the biggest level.

ill disappear? ive been here since november of 2006. you arrived less than a year ago, and ive yet to read a post of yours that someone agrees with you.
your analysis is stale, dont quit your mcdonalds job, and probably return that unopened box of condoms you bought when you joined this site because we all know those wont be used

Guys like Pekovic and Splitter have been poor this year as well. David Andersen couldn't even crack the Raptors rotation. All these guys were major rotation players on the best teams in Europe.
JayCee Carroll was the leading scorer in the ACB, he couldn't make the Celtics preseason roster...
Only a matter of time before "Lakas Fan Yo" aka "Euroleague" is banned for the 5th or 6th time.
And you confirm that you are no older than 12.
well i can assure i am more than doubled that age you gave me.
but i do believe i can find a random 12 yr old in kansas who would give me a better analysis on euroleague than you try to.
Still laughing @ Navarro. Dude is barely six foot tall, can't pass the ball without turning it over and is a volume shooter at a 40% clip. That's awful. And we all knew before he came that this short midget chucker was not NBA material. Stay in the Euroleague brah, with all the other unathletic white boys and NBA rejects.

Euroleague is an idiot but Navarro is pretty good player. He's close to 6'4", decent passer, excellent perimeter shooter and has a deadly floater. Definite NBA player, not a starter but a great guy to have off the bench.
