Blake Griffin throws down best NBA dunk of year on Kendrick Perkins Jan. 30, 2012

Damn... can't even hate on Blake after this.

I wish he was on the Lakers :D but a big part of me is super excited about this era of the NBA and getting to watch amazing young players like Griffin and Rose. Both of those two players are going to be something special.

I was watching this game with a group of 18 of us, and the place went f[COLOR="Black"]uc[/COLOR]king [B]nuts [/B]on that Blake Griffin dunk, and most of us were Laker fans. It was easily the most exciting dunk in recent memory.

Blake Griffin is slowly closing the gap between him and Amare Stoudemaire. Though unlikely, there is still a chance that he can surpass Amare in 2-4 years I guess.

Although the elevation and the fact that he did it over Perkins was impressive the Dunk itself was not so crazy... he didn't even grab the rim and may not have even touched it.

You made it sound like Perkins having 20lbs over Griffin means anything.. he has like 60 lbs and 6 or 7 inches on Wade and Wade through it down on his head. Perkins' size doesnt mean anything for shotblocking.. he cant jump and he doesn't have a monster wingspan.

well clean dunk or not. this is something Blake Griffin needed. Now that he finally dunk on a formidale center. He can slam against other well known centers or bang on Perkins again and own like VC owned Alonzo Mourning.

The people downplaying this dunk clearly did not watch it live. It was intense.
