Re: Kobe Has A Broken Nose
Wade should have apologize, and kiss Kobe's feet after the NBA All star game. Kobe took it like a man. I am sure he's gonna forget about this incident.

Re: Kobe Has A Broken Nose
Ya'll should have known it was broken as soon as it was mentioned that he was being examined by the Blazers athletic trainer.

Something tells me you didn't call the Byum foul on Barea or Odom foul on Dirk last year a heat of the moment mistake though. Wade clearly let his emotions get the best of him and he broke an opponent's nose in an All Star game. I truthfully can't even remember the last hard foul like that in an ASG.
I'm just glad it wasn't a serious injury. That would have been pretty bad if Wade's foul ended up in a season- or career-ending injury for Kobe, intentional or not. I don't think any true basketball fan would want to see Kobe go out like that.
Yeah I dunno. I am all for people trying fancy moves in the ASG tho, its silly to say that kobe should have played it safe and layed it in like a grandma lest wade break his nose. Silly and uncalled for by wade..... But no one likes being clowned and kobe, reverse layup or not was looking to clown him.
But I still think this was a very shitty move by wade in an ASG... regardless of whether or not it could be avoided. Srsly... the damn all star game where all dunks go uncontested..
Just look at howard and wades body language after the fact to see it was obviously intentional.
wade was irked that kobe wasn't called for fouling him on the previous play

Though Kobe has got back at people that have tried to hurt him. Anyone remember when Mike Miller cut his eye? Kobe came back and elbowed him in the throat.
I dont think he'd hurt Wade but I can see him trying to drop 40 on them (Lakers probably need him to drop 40 anyway to win).
let him try, Heat gonna turn him into Lin.
Kobe cannot score on Wade.

Re: Wade foul on Kobe Bryant in 2012 All-Star game resulted in broken nose for Kobe
Kobe was scoring on D-Whistle with ease at the beginning of the game...he was 5-6. Then Whistle probably saw at halftime that Kobe was going to pass MJ and all the attention would be on Kobe while he would be an after-thought, as always. He had to flagrant foul Kobe after he got burnt. Talk about pure jealousy. Kobe took it like a man though, he's not a b*tch like Whistle when it comes to injuries...

Re: Wade foul on Kobe Bryant in 2012 All-Star game resulted in broken nose for Kobe
That was a dirty play in the context of the type of game it was.
Kobe won't let this go, he's as vindictive as they come. There'll be pay back.
Personally I loved it, thought it was going to turn the all star game to a real fierce battle, but instead it kinda fizzled out a little.

Lebron23, seriously man, if you are over 18, get professional help. It's no shame and a guy like you will get much better.

Re: Kobe Has A Broken Nose
I think the announcers said that was the first flagrant in AllStar Game history, meaning it was uncharacteristic of an exhibition game. The foul was dumb and done out of frustration of being burnt on the play. The pathetic attempts to justify it are even dumber.:facepalm
I'd have to second this. It was a foul done out of frustration. I don't think he was trying to hurt him, but it was uncharacteristic and unnecessary for an exhibition game. That should be easy enough to admit.

That classless thug scored all of his points on easy, uncontested dunks, but the second Kobe puts a move on him, he resorts to flagrant foul. So ugly.

I was kinda surprised there wasn't more of a "dude, WTF?" reaction from the other players. Not that I expected someone to get in Wade's face or anything, but you'd think someone would tell him that shit's not cool.

Re: Wade foul on Kobe Bryant in 2012 All-Star game resulted in broken nose for Kobe
I'm glad that Skip Bayless at least admitted it was a cheap shot and he is a Wade fanboy. Kobe was scoring on Wade with ease at the start of the game, going 5-6 before Wade broke his nose and obviously he still played through it but couldn't at that same level. Oh well, Wade isn't the first player to take a cheap shot at Kobe out of frustration and jealousy...see Raja Bell and Ray Allen.

Preferably Bynum. Give Wade the Barea treatment. We'll see if Wade rolls off in a wheel chair crying again for a shoulder injury.

Not just based on that play. In the last eight months, he first broke Rondo's arm, then mocked Dirk while he was sick, and now this. Someone needs to teach him a lesson.
