Awful. Just awful. Kinect 2.0 required on every Xbox One devices. :facepalm
What the problem if the Kinect comes WITH the console?:confusedshrug:
So would the presumed used game fee mean I'd no longer be able to borrow a game from my brothers without paying for it?
My problem with this is said here

I live in europe and this is the problem I have. Even with xbox 360 right now we have 5-8 apps available to use. So how long I have to wait for this feature be available for my TV channels... somehow I think it will not be in 2014. So I'm buying this and can't use half of the features. :facepalm
+ Can't believe how crappy NBA live and Madden looked :oldlol: same EA as usual

Buttom line is I'll have to wait and see how this turns out and not get this or PS4 before summer of 2014
And for to PS homers posting on this thread, haven't seen anything, hardware or details, but a new controller for PS4 so I'm not getting that much excited about that. Let's see what PS4 gives us..
And can't undestand these exclusive games, f*ck that, make games for both consoles

Actually, Sony announced the specs of their system during their event. Pretty safe to assume the Xone doesn't have better specs, considering how quiet and vague MS kept about it.
What the problem if the Kinect comes WITH the console?:confusedshrug:
Jacks up the price and needs to be turned on for every game. A device that most gamers don't even need, especially for them Live trolls. :oldlol:

You do realize why Sony has had more exclusives than Microsoft? The PS3 has the Blu-ray discs. Game storage was really easy for the PlayStation. Look at FFXIII and what Kojima had to say about Metal Gear Solid 4 having 7 discs on the 360.
Also, since the PlayStation 1. Sony has AAA+ developers and still do. That's why there's an immense library. Unfortunately, Insomniac Games have lost it completely with their ambition of money.
As for the PS4, I'll put it to you this way. The PS4 is already built to give you the quality of features right from the start while on the XboxOne will take years to build that efficiency. It'll get there but the PS4 will have the head start.
As for the fee of used games, its actually a good thing from what I read. You'll be allowed to keep an installation within the hard drive. Meaning, it should work as an emulator thanks to the Cloud services. While Sony's Cloud Services (Galkai) you'll be able to open up a library filled of games and you won't have to download anything. You select and just play, obviously there's an online subscription for that but the positive part about it. It already comes with PlayStation Plus. So if you're used to paying for Live then you shouldn't mind paying that extra service from Sony. And yes, to play online games is still free for the PlayStation.
The actual reason Sony has more exclusives is they own more studios. That's it.
They have I think 19?
And to the best of my knowledge M$ has...like maybe 4 that are relevant? And Epic, besides gears, designs for other platforms.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Studios There's a list and it's pathetic.
Also do you have a link that confirms free online play for PS4?
It's confirmed by EA that the footage that they showed at the conference is NOT gameplay footage.
Of course it isn't because let's be honest, who knows if there's even a game at this point lmao
:durantunimpressed:
Damn, I really wanted to use Kyrie with Kevin Durant-like arms.

Sony isn't that impressive either. Naughty Dog is nice, their main Japan studio makes some gems on a very irregular basis and other than that it's not much. The key with PS is more that you get all that Japanese content that isn't on Xbox because Xbox doesn't exist in Japan. They are no Nintendo for sure though, their inhouse development is not that impressive.
MS really, really tried to go that exclusive content route. They broke the bank developing Rareware games, Fable, those Mistwalker RPGs, Too Human, the list goes on and on. They just have a really bad eye for quality in that sense.

Why would you even ask that...the only thing that they'll be charging will be the new added features especially Galkai with the PlayStation Plus services. You know how many customers Sony would lose If online isn't free.
Sony intends to expand and evolve the services it offers over the PlayStation 4's lifespan.[42] The PlayStation Network (PSN) will allow players on the PS4 to access a variety of cloud-based services from the PlayStation Store including Sony's Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited subscription services.[13] Customers can browse titles on the PlayStation Store and stream games via Gaikai to try them out nearly instantaneously.[13][43]
Like I said, streaming games will be included on the PlayStation Plus package. It's going to be like Netflix.

Insomniac, Ready at Dawn, Sucker Punch. Those are some pretty damn good studios.
Honestly I'd put it like Nintendo slight, but it's definitely there difference between them and Sony. Then way down there is M$.
What's funny about M$ is that Too Human was so panned by everyone when it released, but now it's almost a cult classic type game. Fable was solid till they ruined it. That's the difference between M$ and Sony. Sony games fail? They either try again after awhile, or the studio goes on makes a new game.
Microsoft? Ah well No one liked Perfect Dark Zero. Oops. Too Human? Ah well done there! Nobody like Banjo-Kazooie? **** THAT SHIT! Last fable didn't sell well? Okay we're done with that! Jade Empire didn't sell? Well shit, another one bites the dust.
I can't even remember the last time they tried to produce a big 1P game.

Halo....Halo...Halo television series...Halo 3....:lol
Banjo was actually good back in the day. Rareware should've stayed with Nintendo but the original owners have resigned from the company. Unfortunately, some rights are still with the company.

If anything thats even worse. Trailers always look better than actual gameplay. That must mean the game is real shit.

They claim to have several to announce at E3, so I guess we'll find out.
Edit: misread that as IP.

Eh same thing in this situation since I'm willing to bet at least half of those will be kinect based games. :lol

EA is f*cking garbage :facepalm
The only good thing about this reveal is the price drop in the current gen. Just bought xbox 360 + Dark souls&Witcher 2 for 150 bucks  .
Gonna be sweet, definitely will be picking one up

lol i dont think a game even exists. if you go to their website, all the EA games have footage of their new "IGNITE" engine, except for LIVE.
EA is garbage, their best minds left to 2K years ago and it shows. If this game isn't a major success, I don't think they'll be able to renew their license with the NBAPA. Kinda bad considering no competition will give 2K no incentive to introduce new gameplay elements. Either way EA sucks.
Best thing about this is the NCAA rights will be up once gaming on the next-gen is here. Next gen NCAA 2K game??? A man can only dream...
IGN Poll with 75% of viewers disappointed at XBOX One.
People seem to be jumping the gun a bit there is still info to come out. I dont necissarily like how they r pushing the all in one aspect over the console but i have faith. I just heard thatthere r gonna be deicated servers for all xbox multiplayer games, which is pretty huge.

Say word? From where? I cannot find a remnant of this news.

However, I do think those lone companies may be more likely to experiment and perhaps depart from the safe and true gameplan. I think 2K's done a little bit of that with their dabbling into their golden coins system and MyTeam. Both have little to do with the actual NBA experience but being the lead dog, it feels like 2K's taking a little liberty to get out and experiment a little bit.
That said, I'm cool with one company making a sports game as long as the company's making a game I like. Unfortunately, MVP '05 was my favorite baseball series and NFL 2K was my favorite football series. Also, NBA 2K13's slight direction skew worries me a little bit. If they continue moving in the direction that reminds me of old NBA Live games (find the most popular artists to do your soundtracks, find what's most popular on Facebook and make that your game's primary focus, etc.) I'm going to be yearning for an alternative, just as I did when NBA Live 2002 came up so short to me over ten years ago.

Just came across this image, can't confirm the validity of it though. It looks like someone managed to sneak a phone pic of the exclusive list that will be presented for E3.

Games listed:
-Forza motorsport 5
-Banjo-Kazooie Grunty land
-Quantum Break (already announced)
-Halo 5 (also already announced)
Fable 4
-Halo Spartan Assualt (educated guess on the subtitle)
-Dead rising 3 (another guess based on the look of the text and the fact that there are already 2 dead rising games, although the placement of the 3 is confusing)
IGN promoted a blog post yesterday about a new ODST game. I guess that'd be frontal assault, on the offchance this is true.

Spartan Assault is confirmed now, and Lionhead just launched a new Fable forum.

Spartan Assault is a tablet/windows phone game though, and while officially announced today Microsoft registered the domain a few days ago. Plus considering the logo isn't the same as the trailer I'm leaning towards fake on this one.
