Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
One of those guys won a title his team had no business winning.
Soooo...I'd take him at his word there over the guy just playing his own game out there.

Bull. Being on a team that won a ring shouldn't change how you view Chandler. He's a great piece for a contending team looking for a big. But he's still a roleplayer. I don't give a f4ck that he played glue guy for a championship team, he shouldn't be going out to the media to b1tch about his teammate. He should go to Melo and say this and stop being a p4ssy.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Who's Chandler think he's talking to? That's the alleged MVP, according to some guy in Boston.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Carmelo Anthony intends to privately speak with Tyson Chandler about comments made by the latter about him being too selfish in Game 3.
"You want to take over the game or you want to make a big shot where you (should) stick to the game plan," said Chandler, not mentioning Anthony by name. "A good team wins basketball games. Unless you’re a great, great, great, great individual…and we only have a few of those come through.”
Chuckellooo Antoneeeeeee
As long as he's the go to guy on the Knicks they will continue to be a 2nd round at best team.

STFU TYSON. YOU'RE THE MAIN REASON WE'RE DOWN 2-1. START REBOUNDING AND DEFENDING OR GO BACK TO DALLAS.
Don't point the finger. Problem is attitude and effort of all team. It's should come to Woody's responsibility to solve.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
If you guys were passionate about the team you wouldn't throw someone under the bus with championship experience trying to help the team rather than sit there and watch Melo shoot 35% every game on like 26 shots. That is NOT championship basketball and Tyson knows it. What has Melo every accomplish in his entire NBA career? Tyson is a much more accomplished player than Melo and knows what you have to do to win a championship. Melo has barely made it out the first round.
What's championship exp on that? He can talk internally to Melo, Smith, Woody or even owners. Why media?:facepalm
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
I remember there was a news of Tyson Chandler using his ddck to get a fish.
:lol
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Melo has been far from efficient, but he's mostly talking to JR 2-18 Starks here I feel.
Nothing wrong with calling teammates out, but Chandler needs to get his own shit sorted out here. He's given us nothing this playoffs. He's here for rebounding and Hibbert is killing him on the glass. Hibbert is challenging everything at the rim and that means we're going to miss shots around the rim, Chandler needs to crash the offensive boards and shut the hell up.
Having said that, I want Melo go back to his 4 second or less offense. Get a good shot up before the double comes or kick out and let the ball swing and try open up some 3s.
JR, I dunno, he's in a funk and he needs to just keep driving the ball and dish off if Hibbert is constantly altering shots at the rim, even if he's not shooting we need him and Felton to penetrate.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
No Knicks fan has said that Melo is playing up to par. Him and JR struggling (JR's fell off the map as a matter of fact) are a huge reason as to why we're down in this series.
Tyson fvcking Chandler the so-called DPOY, an all-star bigman being an absolute nonfactor is the other. KMart, the guy we picked up off the scrap heap not too far back has been a clear upgrade so far this postseason over the once-DPOY we're paying 14.5 mil. How is that defensible?
Whats not to understand that the way Chandler is going about things isn't the way to go and that he is the last guy to be calling anyone on the team out. If you have an issue w/ a teammate you discuss w/ them in person. And if you do decide to publicly call someone out, you best be putting in work yourself.
Inb4 "Tyson's a winner man, he's a champion"...Kendrick Perkins is a champion as well :oldlol:
Posters here making it sound like Tyson was the main player in that magical 2011 run. Yea it was Tyson not Dirk, JET, and Barea playing out of this world.
The fact that ppl are all praising Tyson's comments as leadership is beyond me. The guy didn't even bother to mention how he's gonna try to play better himself.
BTW this is assuming Tyson is indeed singling Melo out.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
I like your summarization
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Chandler is a joke. He's been a no show two straight years in the playoffs. He doens't play with energy, he doesn't try to block shots, and he's useless on offense. He has no leg to criticize anyone this series, especially after Melo moved the ball and only took 16 shots last game. The fact that he couldn't stop Hibbert on offense or rebounding was the difference.
He's been all talk all year. He's completely overrated.
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
BTW, Chandler is not even averaging a full rebound a game more than Melo and barely more than Shump this post season.
Not good enough.

Lol you realize your back is against the wall so you start throwing the insults. 6 is double the sample size of 3 so my point is much more valid than yours.

Tyson got absurdly over-rated and overpaid following the title in 11.
People forget that just going into that year...nobody in the league even wanted him. He was a cast off. He played great in Dallas...don't get me wrong, but he's over-rated...he's just not nearly as good on defense as he's made out to be...nor is he as great a rebounder. And outside of setting screens he brings very little offensively.
Also, people getting on him about guarding Hibbert. Chandler is actually an average to below average man to man defender. Dirk actually played better man to man defense in that 11 run against the post players on the other teams.
Chandler's value is on everything but man to man defense.
