You're a troll because you are saying absolutely nothing that anyone would disagree with and acting like you are so f*cking unique with your argument.
1. You misconstrued the intent of the letter and agreed with 0.00001% of it.
That's like me saying I support Hitler to sound controversial, but then I say, "Oh I don't support the murder of Jews," but I do support the fact he is German.
Do you know how dumb you are looking right now?
Finally someone with a brain post.:applause:
My point exactly. I also don't agree with how the mother went about the letter completely, but she has a right to be worried for normal children's sakes.
I also like how the ISH pulls one big wanking circle and label me a troll because my opinion isn't politically correct. My opinion is actually what goes on in most folks mind.
No, you actually just jumped to random conclusions. If the handicapped kid was physically harming people then it's a problem. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
It seems like the kid was just acting wierd and making wierd noises. Dogs barking cause more problems than that. As do people rolling out their trash cans at 2 AM, people mowing their lawn too early in the morning, and people playing basketball late night.

Once again, what about defining "mentally ill kids" and telling us at which point they should be isolated from "normal people". I mean you clearly must've thought about this, because you aren't in this thread to provoke reactions, but to make meaningful statements. So go on...what are your categories and guidelines to decide which mentally ill kids should be separated?

Kids who act like the one I posted in the vid and the one the woman is referring to in that letter. Also those who lack adaptive positive behavior, or lack the ability to to day-to-day fuctions compared to other children they're age. Also children who are mentally in need of special classes.
This does not mean they shall be killed, this does not mean their an abomination, this just means they need to only be within they're own group of special children.

I hope your not talking about a special tutor like class for regular kids who just have ADD, or a slight learning curve with most likely an IQ of 80.

Re: Disgusting anonymous letter to the mother of an autistic kid
I agree the letter was disgusting and full of hate.
With that said I can see how an autistic child could be a neighborhood nuisance if he is screaming and acting out.
The letter describes a dreadful whaling noise that is constantly made. I have had neighbors in the past who have had noisy dogs barking all day long or people playing really loud really bad music all day and it was definitely annoying. So, I can understand wanting the behavior to change but this letter is far from the best way to do it.
The author of this letter doesn't seem to care about babies, music or barking so this whaling noise must be pretty bad or there is something else going on.
With the way this letter was written I envision a couple kids happily playing hopscotch or just sitting and taking while this other kid sits 10ft away just screaming some whale mating call.

There's no indication in the letter that the child in question is even out of his yard or in any way in contact with any other kid.
It's all about a sound they find offensive enough that they recommend a child should be killed.

Pretty confident the child was out of his yard and near children, mainly due to the angerish rant in the letter, It's pretty safe and commonsensional to believe it was making those noises near the children and close enough that the parents heard it.

Why? The letter writer, who spares no chance to scream about their issues with this "wild animal", never say a word about their children being afraid of anything but the noise. Never says anything about the child roaming the neighborhood or any concern re physical harm or altercation.
You want to hate this child as much as the letter writer and since you don't have any first-hand knowledge of the situation, you've created a scenario in your head to embellish it even further.

Look, I've been over this, the child is obviously not normal is in need of seperation from other children.
Also childish post saying I hate a kid like that.
I don't hate wild apes, I just think they shouldn't be among normal people and should be institutionalize.

So you avoid the fact that you've added to the story to try and support your view along with that of the letter writer.
You can't support the content and tone, then turn around and say you don't share it's hate. Talk about childish. If you want to spout your convictions, at least have the stones to stand by them.
And as far as the child being separated from other children, if he's in his yard... and there is zero indication in the letter that he's not... then mission accomplished.

My actions:
1. Wanting mentally ill children to be separated from normal kids to avoid normal kids seeing and possibly enduring this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tU5RiKFHfuw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
And I've been standing by that statement. Don't know where you been.
I'm drawing my own conclusions based off how angry the mother was while typing this letter. Example (for comparison sake, not to be takin literal):
A fat naked man sticking his finger up his butt 50yards away from you while looking your way; Common reaction "eww wtf, dats gay, go in the house kids"
Now a fat naked man sticking his finger up his butt 5 yards away from you while looking your way; Common reaction "GTFO and away from me before I call the cops and kick your ass! I'm getting my gun you pedo, I have kids in my house, Go away"
If your brain allows you to understand those analogies, then you will understand why I'm assuming the mentally ill kid is within close proximity judging from the anger and agressive fed up tone the mother used. It's human psychology mixed in with an obvious dash of common since which leads to the final result of my previous statement.
So what evidence are you using to come up with a statement claiming he stayed in his own yard?

what type of analogy is that? the example you gave is something thats illegal. Whats described in the letter by the angry mom is not.
Also the video you posted is not an accurate description. It doesnt say anywhere in the letter that the kid is aggressive and can cause physical harm to other kids

barking dogs and noisy neighbours is a pain many places, can this kid really be worse than that ?

Laughably insipid. Seriously?
A letter writer takes an angry a tone as possible, spares no words in describing that the kid should be euthanized, etc... but leaves out the part where the child roams free and/or has ever presented a physical threat to his/her children? Yeah, that seems reasonable.
All they EVER mention is the noise.
Evidence? That the person who wrote the letter out of sheer hatred never attempted to use that to their advanmtage.
Your evidence? Some stupid diatribe about a fat guy.
And mentally ill and mentally retarded are not the same thing.
Maybe you should be segragated.

Just as I thought, your low IQ can't even find the correlation of my analogy. You as other dumb blokes took it literal. It was focused on how serious or madd a person may become if something annoying them is far away vs being in close range. The hypothesis of the analogy was the closer something annoying is, the more the human mind gets irritated by it. Which is what the angry irritated mother showed in her ranting letter.
-

Re: Disgusting anonymous letter to the mother of an autistic kid
A simple front door discussion with the mother probably would have sufficed. Is it that hard?
"Hey, I'm so and so. When my kids and I pass by your house, my children are frightened by the unusual noises your child makes. I know it's not easy to control, but could you have him work on not making those noises when he's outside? I'd much appreciate it."

I stand by my comment. Adults in the real world write a first or second draft to anything important, then they proof read it and correct spelling and grammatical errors for the final product. If you were alluding to the fact people on the internet, more specifically this website, many of whom are grown adults, don't follow the mold I stated earlier, keep in mind the internet is a completely different animal, and hence, is not restricted by the normal laws of etiquette you and I may follow in the real world.
...Also note, a Man-child or Man-children, of which this website is plentiful of, do not count as normal adults.
You, being an internet veteran, should already know this though, right? Everyone knows the internet is not used for deep, meaningful, lasting conversations. It's about trolling, gaming, and porn. If you're getting mad on the internet, you're doing it wrong.

Re: Disgusting anonymous letter to the mother of an autistic kid
There were actually two handicapped/mentally retarded kids in my neighborhood growing up. One was around the age of most of the other kids on the block and the other was a couple years older. I don't ever remember being scared of them and they were allowed to play with the other "normal" kids with no problem. I don't know if it was a common sense thing, or our parents taught us to treat everyone as an equal, but I remember everyone being incredibly nice to them and giving them positive attention and acceptance. We hooped, played baseball, tag, street hockey, hide n go seek, etc...
The majority of people are just incredibly unstable. If the kid REALLY is a problem and constantly makes loud noises and bothers the other kids or whatever, couldn't the woman just go to her house and have a civil conversation with her? Maybe get to KNOW the people. What happened to actually talking to people? How could you live with sending a venomous message like that?
It's impossible to know the whole situation, but damn, that hurt my soul a little.
Nothing worse than seeing kids and parents intolerant to mentally handicapped people. ****ing disgusting.
