Re: Obama authorizes airstrikes in Iraq
only dumb foreigners keep trying to hate on us but nobody can really just laff at us considering we are the baddest boy on the block. i mean they can but its more like a helpless laff, disingenuous to our real power/influence of the world.
granted, we have our hands tied a lot these days but everyone still recognizes we are by far and away the strongest power in the world today if they know anything of current events/reality :pimp:
No, you're not.
Nobody in the government trusts in their military power, as it became Russia's bitch numerous times now.
To fight off ISIS this was long overdue what took so long:biggums:
It took a little longer because in situations like these, America is putting the pressure on that president to resign, even though they had initially paved the way for him to become the president in the first place lol
As it got a bit more serious though with a possible genocide, eventually they had to step in with something. Airstrikes might not be enough but the shia and other freedom fighters need to start stepping in and doing the rest of the work.
ISIS, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Brotherhoods, and any other extremist need to be pinned on the radar at this point. There are still many places to consider when you want to talk about terrorists.

There is no unified front against the IS. The Kurds and pesh merga don't give a crap about the Shia getting killed off; they only care about protecting kurdish territory. If they see Christians and Yazidi's being massacred outside kurdish soil, they won't do anything.
Airstrikes alone won't stop the massacres, what Iraq needs is leadership on the ground from an outside nation, since the divisions in Iraq won't lead to any unification at all. It's unfortunate, but that's what needs to happen. Plus, the IS is a sophisticated terrorist network and can't be underestimated as seen by their sweep of Iraq's second largest city....
I still don't understand how a shia majority country like Iraq are getting there ass kicked by a ISIS.
ISIS is attacking christians, kurds, and yazidis
they have taken sunni cities
When the head to the shia south is where we will see the real fight
Shia dont really care about non-shia areas. They will fight for their holy cities.
