Re: Parents Reacting To Son Being Gay
The stereo typical southern accent makes me want to question the legitimacy/authenticity of this video. :oldlol: it must be some liberal, PC conspiracy to insult republicans/conservative Christians.:oldlol:
All kidding aside, it's 2014 and people still put God over science.
Maybe I'm too cynical, but the fact that no faces are shown seems kind of shady to me. I wouldn't be shocked to find out this was staged. Not saying it is, but i am suspicious that it might be. There's been a bunch of cases lately of people staging being descriminated to collect sympathy money on the internet. Not saying this is one of those cases for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is.
That anger and hostility from the parents seemed pretty organic to me. As for the homo kid, yea he was very calm and composed but maybe he just has a chill demeanor. Maybe he's just over being upset at the surrounding intolerance :confusedshrug:

Re: Parents Reacting To Son Being Gay
I have some questions......
If homosexuality is natural, then explain its purpose.
If homosexuals have no choice, how do you explain some CHOOSING to no longer live a gay lifestyle?
And most of all, the definition of a homosexual is a person that is attracted to the same sex as they are. Why do they choose men and women that want dress like and want to be men/women?

Homosexuality is not a choice, like guys that like womens feet and guys who have yellow fever. Its a psychological. But it a detrimental mental state and can be fixed by therapy but people get offended when you suggest that.

1. If you think that everything has a purpose, you must be pretty naive.
2. Bisexual or conditioned. Maybe a gay guy is tired of ***** and want to try ******s. The opposite happens stereotypically in middle aged heterosexual men.
3. There's a complex answer to that. Part genetics, part culture in lazy man's terms.

1. Just because something is natural does not mean it has a known purpose or even needs a purpose. Homosexuality is considered natural because it is something present in the the animal kingdom even outside of humans.
2. Common misconception. You can choose to do whatever you like. There are plenty of gay people that are in different sex relationships because they dont want others to know they are attracted to the same sex. The point is that you cant choose what you are attracted to. If you see a hot girl you might be attracted to her while others arent. You didnt choose that.
3. Only some of them do. It is disingenuous to say they are all like that.
(My theory is that they are attracted to the same sex, but they still grew up with gender roles that are considered the norm so they adapt it to suit their preferences.)
In any case, you cant fault people for preferring something over the other.

So which is it?
I can't "choose" which women I'm attracted to, but lesbians have a special ability to choose which women they're attracted to though?
So, in short.......
Gays can't choose which sex to be attracted to, but they can choose which people of that sex they're attracted to?

I dont think it was hard to understand....
Your mind just sort of mixed it together. You prefer the same sex, but your mind also prefers common gender roles so your preferences might be a mix between the two. Not that you personally chose either attraction.
Of course like I said earlier you cant chose your attraction, but you can chose to do whatever you want.

I can't see why a lesbian would be attracted to women that straight men wouldn't find attractive. Gay men seem to be attracted to the same kind of men that straight women are.
I just don't understand why some lesbians are attracted to women, but only if they look like fat, unattractive hairless men.

The funny thing is that while his family is clearly in the wrong with the way they handled the situation, he was the one that instigated it.
He's also the one that took the initial step towards things escalating physically by standing up and rushing into the middle of the room screaming aggressively.
And he record it on a camera. He knew how serious of an announcement this would be for himself and for them and he knew they wouldn't react the best and he recorded it anyways... for attention.
The parents are clearly horrible people but he is clearly right there with them.

Really? It pisses me off that he's getting 75k. In reality that number is probably going to double at a minimum considering it's only been 24 hours... for being a fucking homo. That's the reality of the situation.
It wouldn't surprise me if hundreds of kids are kicked out daily in manners much worse than in this video.

so why do animals make the choice to be gay? its not like humans are the only living creatures that make this choice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual_behavior_in_animals
Bonobos, which have a matriarchal society, unusual among apes, are a fully bisexual species—both males and females engage in heterosexual and homosexual behavior, being noted for female-female homosexuality in particular. Roughly 60% of all bonobo sexual activity occurs between two or more females. While the homosexual bonding system in Bonobos represents the highest frequency of homosexuality known in any species, homosexuality has been reported for all great apes (a group which includes humans), as well as a number of other primate species
1.How about asteroids? They are just chunks of planets floating around in the universe. They don't serve as homes for living organisms that's for sure.
2.It's not all choice. There are some who are naturally gay and some who are conditioned to be gay. Is that really hard to understand?
1. Just because something is natural does not mean it has a known purpose or even needs a purpose. Homosexuality is considered natural because it is something present in the the animal kingdom even outside of humans.
Homosexuality is not present in the animal kingdom. And before you start, if your argument is going to fall back into the animal kingdom, then you must also feel that murder and stealing are natural as well. And thus we shouldn't be arresting people who commit these acts as well.
2. Common misconception. You can choose to do whatever you like. Again, a contradiction. You feel homosexuals have no choice right? Then how do some CHOOSE to stop being homosexuals? Its a simple question. Im not asking what type of same sex. Homosexuals come in different shapes and forms. Im questioning the argument that one does something claiming to not having a choice, then choose to change their mind and do a complete about face.
3. Only some of them do. It is disingenuous to say they are all like that.
Murder and stealing are actions not attractions. You can naturally feel the urge to murder and steal, yes. That is not your choice.
Just like people naturally are attracted to people of their same sex. Homosexuals. What you do about those attractions is a choice. Straight sex, gay sex, murder, steal, etc.
It really isnt hard to understand unless you are forcing mental gymnastics.
I have repeatedly stated homosexuals have the choice to do as they please.
What you are attracted to isnt a choice.
There is a clear distinction. You can like men but still marry a women. You are still gay, despite choosing to get with a female.

No. Im asking why homosexuals are attracted to people that are trying to look like the opposite sex. For example, why would a homosexual man be attracted to another man that gets a boob job, butt job, and then needs to get vasaline in order to simulate the feel of a ******. And granted, thats an extreme case. How about a man thats attracted to a man that looks, acts, talks, and dresses like a woman. You're.supposed to be attracted to MEN.

Well we have telescopes and advanced technology thingy mabobs that can look onto the surface of those asteroids. They don't have any signs of a livable atmosphere or any living organisms.
Yes. Tell me it's wrong and provide nothing to support why it is wrong.
Just because you are gay, doesn't mean you have to be full blown attracted to only male things. Hell, I bet you can find straight guys who like tom boys, are they secretly gay?
