Ive lived in NZ my whole life, and im pretty sure it doesn't mean white sh!t
Is this even the old salto? Doesn't sound anything like you man.
Maybe it's "Palangi" that means "white Sh!t".
Where are you from in kiwiana?

Palangi is just pakeha but in samoan. Im from Auckland. How long you been in NZ?
I was going to comment last night, but I was really hammered, H&O, you pulled a really good one.
This is worse then 9/11
I really like how like 20 posts after HaO gives himself away, THAT'S when people start sticking it to him, and before that, they don't say a damn thing.

No way, Palangi has roots meaning "white sh!t". They just don't really say what it means.
I've lived in NZ all my life. Lived in Dunedin, Alexandra and own property in Omakau.
Man I really like Auckland, when I eventually settle down after travelling and stuff, I'd like to settle down in Auckland. I love the humidity.
Ever been to Rotorua? Couldn't get to sleep because of that terrible sulfur smell. Bought my first skateboard there though
I can't wait to get back to New Zeleand, but I got to do the whole university thing first :violin:  :confusedshrug:

Nah, I've never been to Rotovegas. I'll travel my country more at some stage, probably when I have a family one day, I'd rather spend a lot of time overseas before then.
I can imagine it now, me and my family driving around one of those huge campervans on holiday...........

He was meaning that you gave yourself away because I was bent out of shape nad then there were still posters sticking up for me and going off at the "salto" character. I thought it was pretty classic.
You owned up to punking me, and then there were people still getting angry and hadn't clicked that it was H&O doing the punking. Classic stuff. :applause:

Yeah it's all good, you've got to choose the right part of Auckland though. Most people think it's all traffic and stuff, but theres some real nice areas that are pretty close to the city. Plenty of opportunities too.

I like Davenport. I stayed with my mate and his partner up there, they had a pretty sweet place right in the middle of town.

Yeah it's pretty nice there, expensive though, but some cool beaches around that area. I'm keen to hit queens town sometime soon, haven't been there before but it's something i've gotta do man.
Don't mean to interrupt the flow of the conversation. . .but does anyone have any more spooky stories? They've been good so far.
I got another one...
My great grandmother was at home, she was like 90.. it was the middle of the night and she woke up, and she screamed and called for my grandmother to come, and when she got to the room my great grandmother was saying how she saw a ghost at the end of her bed staring at her, and my grandmother told her it must have been a dream and to go back to sleep...
Next morning my grandmother went to wake up her mother and she was dead...
The night after the funeral my grandmother slept in the bed her mother died in and she woke up in the middle of the night and saw a ghost at the end of her bed, but what she told me was that she closed her eyes and said a prayer and fell asleep and ended up fine..
Still spooky ***** though.

Sh!t man. Ghosts are no joke. I've never seen one and hopefully I never have to. If I did, I'd probably crap all on the inside of my pants until my socks start to get stained.
I'm unsure if I've seen one before. I live on a small street and at the top there is a graveyard. When I was about 13 years old I was walking home from a nearby store with my friend and he told me to stop making some noise.. and I'm like what are you talking about.. and we both looked up and saw something in the graveyard.. and it wasn't normal.. all I remember is it was kinda glowing-ish and in the shape of a human.. and then I thought I must have been crazy so I asked him what he saw, and he said the exact same thing.
I've always beleived that it was a ghost, but I'm pretty outrageous with my thoughts lately and have been thinking... AN ALIEN!?
I dunno, who knows what it was. Me and him still talk about it though.
The closest I have to a ghost story was probably when when I was really little and my mom told me that after my grandma died she could feel her sitting on the end of her bed at night. One day I couldn't get to sleep so I went and slept in her bed. In the middle of the night I had felt something but I was way too scared to even look because I didn't want to see the ghost. I ended up falling back asleep with about 70% of my body on the pillow.
I was watching TV alone in my parents bedroom one night, and all the lights were off etc., and I have no idea what it was but I felt something with me, and then the TV shut off...
Also theres this theory in a small town near where I live that there's a haunted graveyard in the middle of nowhere, and me and a few friends drove out one night, and I got the same feeling of something with me, and in the corner of my eyes I kept seeing little blurs flash by, it was real weird.

Maybe I shouldn't have asked for all these scary stories. i'm gonna have to remember to ask for them when it's still light outside.
I also have a ghost story.
My friend Soaps (Sophath, he's Cambodian), was out of town watching horse racing, and near the end of one of the races he started to complain of stomach pains, he collapsed and his friends called for an ambulance. He was rushed to hospital, his appendix almost exploded, he was close to dying.
He was still out of town in hospital and no one from his family had come to see him. One night he told me he heard someone talking to him in Cambodian. He sat up and couldn't see properly, but he said she was really old. Once his eyes had focused he could see she was shaking, and blood was coming from her mouth. She told him he would die. Then she walked out of his room.
He said he was too scared to sleep for awhile, and in the morning he asked all the staff that came to his room if there was an elderly dark women working at the hospital in his ward, or if there were any patients, and there wasn't.
He has been one of my closest friends for a long time, he never lies, and has never told me such a weird story before.
What is it with ghosts at the end of the bed?
Any more spooky stories?
