Full Court Press defense is getting popular here. You need to have 3 good ball handlers on your team to be able to beat the trap defense. And a guy who's going to set the screen.

Just uploaded 2 new videos. This sunday we might play a pickup game against an ncaa player (Philippines), and some police officers.

They reopened my town's indoor basketball court. The security guard checked our temperature, and filled up some form. If some players tested positive for the virus they can immediately trace them. They only allowed 12 players inside the court.

That's why coaches invented the suicide drills to help a player improve running back and forth. I hate it when a player never run at the opposing side of the court to play defense.

They removed the rims in the court that I was playing. Only the private indoor rims are still available.

Just uploaded another video. By the way we had the opening game of our basketball tournaments among friends. I scored 27 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Our team won 103-100. Only 20 person were allowed in the court. 16 players (8 from each team), 2 referees and 2 statisticians.

Dang, there was no video capability when I was ballin... they had Camcorders the size of suitcases back then... Aint gonna show my old azz ballin now... But Damn I would put BIG bucks I could out shoot anyone of you dweebs..

Back when I was 13 in 2000. My dad bought me a camcorder, but it was stolen in our classroom during our PE. Kids are very lucky today they have modern cell phone.

Do you have some highlights of you playing in an organized league with refs and all? Maybe a short clip?

By the way filipino brand of basketball is more about running a fast break. Before i play a game I do some stretching and suicide drills. Everyone loves to run. And shoot some 3 pointers.

Stretching is good but I dont know about doing suicide drills before a game.

Retired a good 5 years from pickup ball but when I came back everyone seemed to have developed a 3 point shot even the older dudes who never had a decent shot to begin with. Was also amazed how every kid was side stepping like crazy on fastbreaks, just forcing the move even if they didnt have to at times lol. I guess thats the influence of modern basketball for you.

Yes, it's now mandatory for every players to developed a 3 points shot. Back in the day layups,midranges and tear drop shot were the more popular moves. The 3 pointers was called an inefficient shot back in the day. Now even centers are attempting it.

They closed and lockdown all of the court and gyms in my town. I am planning to wear the Adidas Dame 6 that I bought last month. My Kyrie 6 just arrived.

I was surprised they opened it up in the first place.

Only 2 active cases in my town. Now it's almost 20 folks who are infected. Our company advise us to work at home for now.

Now all of the rims in my town are closed. Even those private courts. I hope by september they open it again.

Last game we had was in mid march until somebody snitched on us for apparently having too much fun playing ball despite the pandemic and they then locked the rims. I guess "Karens" really are everywhere but she does have a point atleast. That shit went online and she got mocked by some of the players in the neighborhood.

My birthday wish next week. Hope they can bring back the rims. I miss playing basketball. I ordered some rims and board, but they are still looking for the the specific rims that I want.

Hopefully we are allowed to olay basketball again. Just bought a Wilson Basketball.

"Just played 5 on 5 against some police officers. Only played 1 game. We won I had 4 3 pointers, 4 jump shots, and 2 layups. 2 months without 5 on 5 basketball i had cramps after the game.

Scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had 5 assists in a pickup game. We played small ball in the 2nd half that's why I got 12 boards.

Someone is doing the stats? Rebounds and assists? Usually its just points you keep track of.

Race to 100. It's like a league. 3 points are counted as 3 points, midrange layups, or even dunks are counted as 2 points. We even have 2 referees which are players also
The owner of the basketball gym that we are playing have a stats sheets. and those guys who are not playing in the court are counting it.

went 80 out of a 100 about a year ago with a rebounder from 20'ish feet out on an 11 foot rim.

Wish I had filmed it because I'll never replicate that again most likely, hit like 18 in a row at one point.

The police officers are now allowing us to record videos in the basketball court that we are playing. Just added some moves in my arsenal. A midrange, and a reverse layup.

I'll shoot 100 3 pointers the next time I posts a video
