The more laws you take away and the less power you give the government, the less power these corporations have over people.
Like I said earlier in the thread...
Low IQ.
And if you de-power the government, corporations no longer can be held accountable by anyone. Look at India - they are a democracy and have laws/regulations, but the government is not powerful enough to enforce the laws. The result? Corporations do what the hell they want. They dump dangerous chemicals and waste whenever they want because nobody is there to enforce the laws. They buy off local politicians and local cops. That's no different than government having little or no power.
The only solution is to fight off corruption, reduce redundant agencies like Homeland security to bring down spending and avoid needless wars/international controversies like trade wars.
:facepalm
Most of our laws are written by corporations or their lobbyists and think tanks, most of our government agencies are run by wealthy executives from the industry that the given agency is supposed to be regulating, upon retirement most of our lawmakers end up with highly lucrative corporate gigs in industries that benefitted from their legislation... how the fuck can the government have more power than corporations when the government is run by corporations?
They write the laws because you want more regulations and guess what happens? The big companies help write them which creates more barriers to entry and less competition to where the big companies are left to exist.
They become more powerful since they can afford the regulations and then you complain more about them being more powerful while you

So the people elected and working for the government are just innocent so gooders with not a bad bone in their body? So stupid to place no blame on those working in government.

Another pile of complete bullshit.
Corporations dont wait around for public approval before they write a law, they write and pass unpopular laws all the time... simply because they benefit financially. You think that ag-gag laws were created because the public wanted a new law that would prohibit them from filming the abuse that takes place at factory farming operations?
It has been scientifically proven that there is no link between general public opinion of a given piece of legislation and whether or not that legislation is passed (source), however the same study found that the opinions of lobbyists, the wealthy, and corporate interests are highly correlated with whether or not a given piece of legislation is passed. Corporations and wealthy interests control our government and will continue to do so regardless of how many laws/regulations are passed or repealed.
