He's the CEO and that's the line, my observation would be that:

1) They must have a shit culture of work there for the CEO to go public and say he'd like to replace another 10% of his workforce because they're useless drug addicts.

My impression was that the jobs had been open for awhile. That's why the Haitians moved there in the first place, job openings.

There no risk politically, his local government has literally allowed people from one other specific country to become 25-30% of the city in just a few years, it's so crazy I really don't have words for it. E.g there's a city in Sweden where immigrants now make up around 50% of the demographics, crime there has gotten really bad and there's now a proposal in Swedish govt to make a law which would give the immigrants 50K or smth like that to go home for good. They have the same deal in Denmark, literally trying to pay immigrants to go home because they can't kick them out due to EU law. And that's based on change that happened over decades, these Haitians were put in Sprinfield in just a few years.

Sweden was flooded by refugees from people fleeing war in Syria and Ukraine. It isn't like Sweden had open jobs waiting for them lol.

75% of those have come since 2022, has nothing to do with middle eastern and African immigrants in the 10's, hence why they're going to offer more money to middle easterners to go home and not Ukrainians. Also, I think your number from there only counts people still with official refugee status.

You said violent crime, almost all the stuff the citizens at those town hall complained about has nothing to do with violent crime.

A person doesn't necessarily change up all their beliefs and opinions just because they move to another country. Snatching up a cat from some back alley they might not consider a crime in their mind.
Personally I don't want to judge people from what animals they eat, I've had quite a few meals from a meat that others would only consider pets and never eat, because I was visiting a place where they ate it locally.

I wouldn't know about the circumstances of a magic money card, e.g if everyone gets it or are there specific allocations. You're welcome to try and do research.

Depending on culture, people do stuff all the time which some people consider very wrong while others don't and I don't think Haitians who eats cats consider themselves wrong for doing so or grabbing them from streets where they run around.

Wasn't there a guy in that long YT report who said he'd seen Haitians in white van picking up cats? The interviewer should've asked him why he didn't report it to the police if true, the same way he should have asked the Haitians who said they came there "just because of job openings", if it wasn't in corporation with some specific NGO since 20.000 ended up in one specific city.

I think the media and city officials would do anything to keep information about disappearing cats in Springfield out of the news, a confirmation of it would put them all in a very bad light and help Trump.

Why don't you try catching a cat outside sometime. Just getting within a step of one is a major challenge. Actually grabbing a cat who doesn't want to be caught is next to impossible for one person unless they just shoot the cat.

I've lived in a city with many stray cats who were fed by locals and I know it's a mix of whether or not some of them will let you get close enough to touch, especially if you have food.
As for catching a stray cat who doesn't want to get close to you, I dunno maybe just start putting food out around your house, or put a bit of sardines in the same bushy area for a couple of days and on the 3rd day put it in a trap - I'm sure that people who's eaten cats since childhood would know some tricks.

It has been almost 20 years since the federal minimum wage increased in this country... meanwhile the cost of simply surviving in this country has skyrocketed in the past 4 years alone. American politicians (both republicans and democrats, but especially democrats) have decided that instead of calling for higher wages for working class americans, its better to import a new working class that is willing to take pennies on the dollar for their labor.

Lots of people are talking about replacement theories, but imho the reality of the situation is far more simple - ultimately its all about corporate profits and keeping wages down. Hatian "immigrants" or "refugees" or "newcomers" or whatever the fvck the PC term is for them this week will gladly accept the federal minimum 7.25/hour for hard labor jobs that would normally cost $20-25/hr to employ a native born american... the only reason these hatians are able to take these min wage jobs is because their housing and expenses are being massively subsidized by the taxpayers they are replacing

Multiple people have said in the townhalls about Haitians eating ducks, but I guess you think they're lying and you have some sort of mental block keeping you from saying anything negative about the Haitians.

I've lived in a city with many stray cats who were fed by locals and I know it's a mix of whether or not some of them will let you get close enough to touch, especially if you have food.
As for catching a stray cat who doesn't want to get close to you, I dunno maybe just start putting food out around your house, or put a bit of sardines in the same bushy area for a couple of days and on the 3rd day put it in a trap - I'm sure that people who's eaten cats since childhood would know some tricks.

I thought the Haitians were eating peoples pets. So were they pets, which are pretty well fed and aren't looking for food? Or were they strays? Make up your mind.

I am sure stray cats can be conditioned over time with food but I used to feed stray cats and they never let me near them.

That's exactly the essence of my post. Neither the dems under the guise of liberalism nor the GOP under their america first fiscal con guise are anything but corporate servants. If anyone believes Trump or Harris are different then they're gullible idiots.

And as I said that's also the point why conservative governments also don't do shit about immigration. When asked why numbers don't change they'll tell you they didn't have enough time yet. After 4 years or in my country's case 5 years they're asked again and just tell you they didn't have enough time yet and faced other crisis. Come election time it's topic #1 again.
