The report is that Embiid won't even play this week. That's 2-3 games missed at least. :lol
Between that and Kawhi being out and......same shit, different season.

You would think after embiid (as the mvp favorite by a huge margin at that point) blew his knees off vs the warriors yall would stop trolling....but yet here we are. hinting that "he's soft"
The man dominates in the playoffs with half his face frozen.....you still troll
the man wins a world championship......you still troll
Been watching this game for 40 years and the league has never been less exciting to be a fan of because of this nonstop bullshit. Every game that has the stars in it feels like a luxury. You really can’t even look forward to matchups anymore. You just tune in for 2-3 minutes…realize every storyline is ruined by people who could but refuse to play….and go about your business.
I didn’t even bother to look up the opening week schedule for the first time ever. You aren’t really going to get those games anyway.
Surprise, surprise. Embiid and PG OUT for first week of season
@NBAonTNT
Joel Embiid and Paul George are both OUT for the Sixers' opener vs. the Bucks on Wednesday
Embiid will miss the entire week & PG will be re-evaluated later this week
If I'm a national TV network, I would start removing all sixers games from broadcast this season
The future of the NBA is on the horizon:
The man dominates in the playoffs
That has never happened. At best, he's had an understndable excuse. Being a Sixers fan I can understand you accepting that in lieu of victory but understand that that is not domination.
Been watching this game for 40 years and the league has never been less exciting to be a fan of because of this nonstop bullshit. It's because they want to win those regular season awards but Tatum and Brown won't do that to you.

The owners prodigal suns will control these robots with a VR NBA2k interface and PS8 controller.
And nobody will tune in, but cable TV and its 50k remaining subscribers will watch it and say it’s great lol.
Then the company that leases them the robots (Tesla) will start load-managing the robots, but no one will notice, since you can just replace with a new model of the same player model.
Sports hell on earth.
If you don't like it, then you wouldn't be making excuses for Embiid just because he plays on your favorite team.
What excuses? Are you not comprehending anything said? Jesus you’re slow

Its why I've been afraid to go to a live game in over a decade. Too much likelihood of the stars load managing. I suppose someone could argue if you're a purist that shouldn't matter, but I'm not spending triple digits to see the role players.
Shams says the league is launching an investigation into embiids load management.

Purist? You must mean loyal. You’re not loyal to team you support/argue for. That’s ok but wrong word choice.
I wonder if Shaq's stance isn't a little hypocritical? I recall him missing 20 games a year in LA and saying that because he got hurt on company time that he would rehab on company time. That's not the same thing but if anything his approach would be worse. Philly is fully onboard with what Embiid is doing whereas the Lakers wanted Shaq to be ready for the season and he instead postponed his surgery until just before the start of training camp. How is that any better?

Get your soft ass in the game, Embiid. You don’t **** with NBA revenues.

I don't have any loyalty to any team period, since the 90s Bulls disbanded. I dont live in the U.S and whenever I've gone to a game live it's with the idea that I wanted to see a particular player(s).
When I say 'purist', I mean someone could argue it shouldn't matter if the featured star(s) is playing or not because one is going to watch the game and not individuals. So I believe I used the correct term for what I intended to express on a personal level.
