Re: 2025 NFL Draft - (April 24th)
Jesus your takes are so bad. I got a headache reading that utter nonsense. I swear idiots make me nauseous.
What indication has Deion sanders shown he would insert himself into whatever franchise drafted his son? Give me examples. Not ASSumptions. Not throwing shyt against the wall hoping it sticks. Run down the things that SUPPORT this narrative. He’s been nothing but a professional in his career. When and where has he ever been a distraction that you can point too. His son literally has had one of the biggest slides in NFL draft history. And Deion Sanders has said what? Has done what? If he acted like Lavar Ball? You’d have a leg to stand on. You’d have your “see I told you” moment. But you don’t. You literally have nothing. So you sit there and type out what Deion has shown in his career that would be a distraction to an NFL team who drafts his so.
You clowns just make up stuff and run with it.
And the best narrative is “he has to be humble. Not cocky or arrogant.” It then justify players who are cocky and arrogant. Giving them hall passes to go to the bathroom. Hahahahaa
The best part of your nonsense “if Deion wasn’t the way he was”. What was he shythead? Because you just typed a bunch of nonsense JUSTFYING cocky and arrogance is ok if you accomplished things. Deion accomplished Hall of fame tier accolades. But you’re using it AGAINST him? Make your mind up idiot.
I love how insecure and soft “men” are when an athlete is cocky and arrogant. Says more about you than the actual athlete.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. Thanks.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - (April 24th)
I could see why teams would be hesitant to draft him now, wherever he ends up now he’s absolutely going to take up a lot of media attention, with his coach and teammates frequently being asked about him.
While not the perfect example, it’s reminiscent of when the Jets traded for Tebow. He was barely getting snaps but he was constantly the medias biggest target, and I think it played a role in Mark Sanchez’s downward trajectory. While far from a good QB, his level of play slipped dramatically that year and he never recovered.
So unless you legitimately believe this guy can be your long term starter, you really run the risk of bringing a huge distraction to your team who may not even be getting playing time.

To me I think it's the case of do teams think his talent outweighs his distractions? After falling out of the first 102 picks that's a no.
We'll see what happens. The next possible spot for him would be the Steelers at 123. But at this point it almost feels like he's not getting drafted at all because the people who mention Dak Prescot and similar quarterbacks that went in those later rounds don't understand that they weren't scouted as highly as Sanders.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - (April 24th)
Day 3 starts in about 15 minutes right?
If the Cowboys had a 4th round pick... Sanders would be the perfect back up QB... we can handle the media distraction.
in my opinion... if your starting QB goes down, you'd want a QB to plug in that can take off and run because he's not going to have immediate chemistry with the WRs... while Nick Foles may shut down my philosophy, it's still a good strategy.

Problem with that is he's not great at avoiding defenses and running out of it. He led the whole NCAA in sacks (42) and sack yardage (356, almost 100 yards than #2). The year prior he was tied for first for sacks (52) and yardage (458, 120 more yards than #2). Also, his awesome completion percentage accuracy is when he's not under pressure. When pressure is on him he fails miserably. In short he needs a good line and needs to stay in the pocket with no pressure for him to be effective from what he's shown at the college level the last two years.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - (April 24th)
Sanders went into Giants interview and it's reported he wasn't prepared for it regarding the install packages they were going to go over with him.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll called out Sanders in the interview for not being prepared and Sanders took offense to it and that interview pretty much ended there. Sanders made their decision easy and went with Dart.

No one drafts a kid in rd 4-7 and worries about “will he he a distraction?”. What are hs teammates going to be asked?
“Do you think Shadeur should’ve went higher in the draft?”
“Has Deion sanders shown up to practice and yelled at your coach yet?”
“Is his chain bigger than yours?”
“How come you’re not getting playing time as a day 3 pick?”
The whole media attention angle is weird really.

So why is he dropping?
You keep saying every explanation for it is wrong and implausible.
But he is factually dropping in "historic" fashion.
So what is your explanation Gobber?
Every NFL general manager (all 30 of them right?) played quarterback and was intercepted by Deon Sanders in 1993, so theyre nursing a grudge over his kid?
Is that what you think is happening? :lol

Well Mcshay reported that Daboll wasn’t happy with Sanders.so that’s the Giants. We shall see what the other teams have to say. I mean shouldn’t be difficult. With all these anonymous reports prior to the draft. Not sure what’s holding their tongues now.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - (April 24th)
Round 4 complete, Sanders still on the board
To put this in prospective the Jets, Raiders and Steelers could use a future quarterback.
The Raiders passed on him seven times.
The Jets passed on him five times.
The Steelers passed on him three times.

At this point I would be surprised if he's picked it all. It just feels like teams aren't going to pick him and he's got to prove that he wants to play in the NFL versus showing up to interviews unprepared like he doesn't care.

Sanders is a Brown. :lol The pick was literally announced right as I posted that last comment.
Hopefully he has a better NFL career than Johnny Manziel did in Cleveland.
Good luck. He's going to where quarterbacks to go to die.
[I]"If his last name was Breer," an unnamed NFC quarterbacks coach said about Sanders, "and he was coming out of Minnesota, he’d be a sixth-round pick. He doesn’t play with good feet. He’s late on stuff. He has an average arm. His accuracy is OK, but he has no timing, no anticipation. He flashes some throws, but he’s an average player, not a great athlete. Even if you watch his pro day, there’s no timing or rhythm. He takes extra hitches."
"It’s so hard because there really is no redeemable quality that’s at a high end," one NFC coordinator told Breer about Shedeur Sanders. "Give him credit — when someone’s open, he’s accurate. He’s tough. He’s resilient. But in terms of a pure thrower, he’s not up there with the top starters in the NFL; he’s well below that. … Looking at last year’s class, for me, he’s closer to [2024 fifth-round draft choice Spencer Rattler]. If there’s a world where it works out, it’s because he’s accurate, tough, has some savvy, but I’d be surprised if he was a really good starter."
