He had some nice blocks for sure. But compare the movements of Russell & Wilt on the defensive end. Russell looks more fluid and active, Wilt looks like a stiff out there.
Took me a while to find this, but this is poster GOAT hypothetical All-NBA Defense Teams and DPOYs in the 50s and 60s. He had Wilt coming in 2nd to Russell in just about every season and even had him winning twice over Russell.
