Re: RIP Hulk Hogan
Get the fukk outta here. If you looked up to Hulk the man and thought he was some perfect saint as opposed to the fictional character he played, that is on you. If that is the standard you wish to hold entertainers to you are going to have an extremely short list of people to look up to. Hulk does not have an obligation to anyone to lead a perfect sin free life 24/7 around the clock. What he says and does behind closed doors is nobody's business.
Would you want your entire life to be judged on things you said behind closed doors? Does that truly reflect the person you are and how you treat others in society?
Saint? Hulk hogans appealed to kids, teenagers and young adults across the world. They are impressionable. But most importantly hulk hogan made his financial living based off an image he pushed and portrayed. That helped make him the iconic wrestler he was known as today. Any blemishes? Any contradiction to the hulkamaniacs sayings is par for the course my guy. You’re speaking from a different perspective and position in life (older) vs the people Hulk appealed too. Cut it out.
Just because we do things in private we don’t want the public to know. Doesn’t mean if the private stuff is revealed it can’t be used against us. You could be sitting over there watching childporn and messaging underage girls. All in the name of privacy. If that were to ever be discovered, revealed etc it now becomes public. And you must wear the responsibility of it. Why you keep pushing this we all do bad things, terrible things in private narrative is weird. His wrong doings were exposed. You want everyone to forget it didn’t happen and chalk it up to privacy?
You will not find a single example of a black wrestler accusing Hogan of racism or that they felt like he had racist sentiments towards them. You don't have names because there aren't any. You only ever hear the opposite.
Same with his fans. The one thing you never ever heard anyone say was that Hogan doesn't treat his fans well. It's the one thing that's almost universally agreed upon with him. He really went above and beyond for his fans. Never shy about signing autographs, never shy about taking pictures. You never heard of a single black fan who ever said they felt weird around him or that he didn't really embrace them.
You’ll have people that say Barry bonds was a great teammate (from his peers) and fans having memories of photos/aitographs. Then you’ll have the opposite. Barry is a mean, arrogant, a-hole, not a good person nor teammate. Never encountered Barry so I can’t side with either position. Although I tend to give grace and think the positive of a person within reason.
There are wrestling journalists that reported the hearsay that black wrestlers thought hogan when he was co owner held them back unfairly. Didn’t give them equal opportunity. I can’t prove it because I didn’t report it. But the hearsay is coupled with Hill hogans n word tirade. So there’s room for skepticism. And later on his aligning with Donald Trump reinforced to some that he really did feel how he did about blacks when he snapped…IN PRIVATE…with his PRIVATE PART in someone’s wife….his best friend.
Nah they're dancing on his grave and spitting on his name. They're taking delight in it and trying troll his fans are just trying to honor the man. Same people who probably risked catching Covid so they could attend a holy gathering in honor of George Floyd.
There are plenty of left leaning, woke, racist entertainers that I grew up admiring that I can't stand now. Not going to wish upon their death or speak ill of them in their passing.
Get over it brotherrrrrr. It comes with the territory. By all means continue to speak on hulk in a positive light. There’s a divide amongst fans/people. Dumbest fukking thing I've ever heard. He's a performer. They are not obligated to live and breathe their character 24/7 when the cameras aren't rolling. As kids we had no idea what Hulk was like in his private life nor did anybody else, and we were all the better for it. Unless they did something criminal and/or inflicted harm on another person none of us should care what they say or do in their private lives. Fukking Jay-Z sold crack and he was considered wholesome enough to campaign for both Obama and Clinton. Fukking crickets from you guys when it came to his past. In fact he gloats about it in his raps.

Did this dumb mutherfu*ker just compare using a racial slur to watching child p0rn??? This is on par with some of the worst and most retarded comments I've ever seen here. If you're caught messaging underage girls then in all likelihood you're a predator. Finding out someone is a child predator is not the same finding out that someone used a bad word. Jesus christ.

There's nothing to side with. You're a grown fukking man. You're not supposed to judge someone off of other people's opinions. Being an asshole is not some unforgivable sin. Newsflash, not everyone is going to like you. Whether fairly or unfairly there are going to be people you encountered in life who thought you were an asshole.

Yea you have no idea what you're talking about. Plenty of wrestlers have accused Hogan of playing politics and hindering their career but most of them are white. Newsflash, that is the wrestling business. The same is usually said about most if not all of the top stars. Steve Austin is famous for making his name in WWF after years of not getting a chance in WCW because bigger stars were standing in his way. Naturally there is going to be jealousy and resentment when the top guys do what they can to stay on top and don't just give their spots up willingly.
You're so desperate to make this out to be a race thing, meanwhile there is a long list of black wrestlers who will tell you right now that Hogan was either a friend to them or did something huge for them that helped boost their career. But again like I said these are grown men and not sensitive children.
When hulk hogan used the n word who was he referring too? He didn’t want his daughter dating black men. He wants her dating a white man. Having a family by a white man. So then if we're following your logic then, you should be philosophically opposed to black dating apps right? Why would black people only want to date other black people? Isn't that racist? Why are these sites even being promoted to begin with?
How come we always hear so much about "black love" and how it needs to be celebrated more?

I honestly didn’t bother reading the post in full. 100% sure you’re repeating yourself. Bottomline is this. Your entire argument would not be had in real time. Meaning you would have this convo at work. Amongst a group of black men. If that day ever happens report back here and we can pick up on the n word and how it compares to white trash. And all the cool words like triggered, irrational, we all say/do heinous things!
That’s all I ask from you and the other tough guy. Stand ten toes down on the things you said here about the n word in a setting where you aren’t typing out words. You’re audibling saying them to someone or a group of people. Preferably black men. Then let them know how brainwashed and irrational triggered they are as you rip the word. Deliver it how you see best. That’s the kind of reality tv I’d tune in to see.

Look at how emotionally triggered you get over a word, jesus christ.
Yes, we're well aware that black people are willing to risk their freedom and commit extremely violent acts in response to hearing the n-word. That's the problem. No other civilized group behaves like this. It's like devout muslims ready to commit murder if you dare mock the prophet Muhammad. This is not the badge of honor you think it is, and you acting like a tough guy and showing zero emotional control is only further proof of what we're saying.
Everybody talks shit with their friends in the comfort of privacy. We say fukked up shit and we make fukked up jokes. It brings us all closer together honestly. I'm guessing you're black so I would bet all the money in the world that you've said things about white people in private that would make you look like an extreme racist, and so has your favorite black entertainer.
You're right, if someone angrily called you a n----r to your face... you should not have to tolerate that kind of disrespect and if you socked someone in the face for doing so then as a man I can respect that. But holding this type of eternal grudge because Hulk Hogan said a racial slur in private behind closed doors is fukking ridiculous.

This dumb motherfukker. :oldlol:
It's not just about being strong, it's about being confident and assertive. It's about being a leader, a provider and a protector. Steve Jobs was not a physically strong person but best believe he showed traits of an alpha male. He was a dominant personality who led his companies with a commanding presence, and he was unwavering in his vision even when he received backlash. You don't reach the heights he did without those alpha traits.
This is why democrats are losing male voters in droves and are struggling to connect with men, because you don't even know what a man is to begin with or what a man should even aspire to be. Trump has a lot of negative traits sure, and I know you guys love to joke that he has a small pee pee... but we all know it's his undeniable BDE that drives you guys so crazy. The fact that he is loud, arrogant and the opposite of submissive is what makes you all hate him so much.

I’m not triggered over the word. My entire point is I can fully understand why there is a divide with hulk hogan RIP vs f*ck that racist prick. In fact where did I even bring up Hulk Hogan was a racist and said the n word? I didnt.
I’ve seen the word said in real time by a white person, by an Asian and it didn’t end well. So what I’m saying is let’s stop pretending the word isn’t a big deal because there is usually physical violence that comes behind it when it’s said. Be it to make a racial joke or to disrespect/insult. I’ve seen it go left. I’ve seen it go to verbal confrontation that appeared it may have gone physical. I’ve been around enough white males the toe the line of racial stereotype jokes but never say the n word. You’re not going to convince, sway or change someone’s mind the n word isn’t that big of a deal.

This is the problem, it's only a big deal because you're making it out to be. You're the one giving the word power.
You're not really hurt or offended when you hear the n-word, just like Chris Rock and his audience wasn't really offended when he told that joke. They all knew what he was trying to say and reacted honestly, not with anger but with laughter and amusement.
You've just been conditioned and indoctrinated. You aren't offended, you feel obligated to be offended. You want to be offended. You enjoy being able to play victim and being able to wield that power over others. It's a power fantasy, and on the left victimhood is an extremely valuable currency.

This back and forth isn’t getting anywhere honestly. It’s reaching a point of exhaustion. You wouldn’t say the word that’s not a big deal in person unless it’s behind closed doors with like minded people. There’s a reason for that because you know its meaning and intent when used. You can spin it in here with words. You can give this breakdown how folks are conditioned blah blah. But in person, in real time away from being “hidden”. Are you expressing yourself in this manner? Is the energy the same? I doubt it. Hulk hogan didn’t have the balls to rip the m word unless it was in the privacy of his home. Because he too knew the consequences of it and what the word actually means. Hill hogan received more RIP and condolences than folks bringing up the n word audio and his character outside the ring. So what’s the problem really? Former wrestlers, current wrestlers, old people, young people all races have expressed RIP to the guy. Theres some (small in comparison) that are pissing on hulk hogan name. Get over it honestly.

How selective we are lol And Mike example of what a racist is? Outdated. Back in the day you could get away with expressing that with no consequence. It’s 2025 not 1960.
Hulk hogan endorses and aligns his beliefs with that of Donald Trump. But yes cue up mike Tyson definition of a racist “kill all blacks arrrrrgh arrrrrgh arrrrgh”.
Mike Tyson is also good friends with Trump you genius. :oldlol:
We get it, everyone is racist.

This is some young punk who wasn't old enough to even work with Hogan. He's probably never even met him.
Here is Booker T's brother Stevie Ray, an actual wrestler that knew the man personally:

Here is D-Von Dudley:

I can find numerous other examples btw, these are just two. Plenty of black wrestlers have been willing to go to bat for Hogan. But by all means keep crying because the man said a no-no word in the privacy of his own home and said what every parent is thinking.
