One swing from Dampier would've layed Paul out for the series. :lol
Get your eyes checked...
They do blow a 17 pts lead to 7 at one time. So good they managed to seal the win and now the series would be more interesting to watch!
Paul is a fierce competitor. Dude leaves it all out on the court. Playing in a hostile environment versus a veteran team.
thats pretty sad dampier has to commit a flagrant foul to stop chris paul from scoring.
i hate people like dampier... what was the need ? uneducated thug man..
One of the things that turn me off from Paul. Too goddamn hot headed. If the game isn't going his way, he wants to fight. Anyone remember his infamous meatcheck in college?
Dampier pushed him.He is 5'11.I would want to fight too.He could of easily blked him.

a) He just got shoved by Dampier
b) His defender insulted his recently deceased grandfather. I'd do the same thing.

I personally thought it was a reaction to the play prior to that when Terry went for the steal and a foul was called right before Paul pushed him out of frustration:confusedshrug:
Dirk

2 BS and only 2 TO
Dirk need to continue playing like this if the Mavs want to win this series.
thats pretty sad dampier has to commit a flagrant foul to stop chris paul from scoring.
yes, he was really worried about 2 points with a 12 point lead and 27 seconds left. that was a message foul. i just dont think he meant it to be a push like that. i think he lost his balance a little. still, he was gonna foul his ass hard and there is nothing wrong with that. especially with all those little elbows Paul likes to fling down low.
i hate people like dampier... what was the need ? uneducated thug man..
did you just see CP3 run over Terry(he dropped his shoulder and trucked him), then turned back and stared at him?
Wow, Tyson Chandler's a punk. He pushes Dirk around (because he won't fight back) but then is scared when the big fella Erick Dampier is yelling in his face. And yeah, Paul is starting to annoy me just slightly, because of his dirty play.
I love the Dirk interview
Dirk: "Our defense was there, it was great early. We only gave up"
-looks up at scoreboard-
"87 points"
a) He just got shoved by Dampier

Not much I can say about that. But overall I think CP is a bit too hotheaded when the game isn't going his way. Just IMHO.
They will get butt****ed next gm.West had like 10 open jumpers on the pick and roll and Paul was playing scared. This won't happen next gm.I sorry for dallas fans tho.
did you just see CP3 run over Terry(he dropped his shoulder and trucked him), then turned back and stared at him?
Exactly. Like I said, I think the Dampier foul was a retaliation to that.

They were going for the ball. They freaking talked about his dead grandpa??.**** the mavs.Trying to get him off his gm by saying **** like that.

I know, that was a dirty play on Chris Paul, not Jason Terry.

What excatly was said about his grandfather?
Exactly. Like I said, I think the Dampier foul was a retaliation to that.
Dampier is 7ft.Go pick on chandler.
paul was having a bad game and eric said **** that no stat padding in my arena
What excatly was said about his grandfather?
It doesn't matter wat he saad just mentioning his grandpa is disrepectful.
Dirk is the man: 32/19/6

This isn't the school yard in grade school No one cares how tall you are in the NBA Playoffs If Paul can shove/push, he can get pushed. This is the NBA, not a City League Basketball League. That argument loses merit the minute you set foot on an NBA Court.
Dampier is soft and has a glass chin
Dallas finally played smart defense.
Instead of chasing Paul all over the court with a double team, they layed off and played under the screens to deny penetration, and that forced Paul to either take the outside shot, or dump off to West or the wing. The problem with that was that West went cold. When his shot isn't falling, then Paul's options are limited. Peja was hitting shots, but they didn't look for him enough. IMO, there's no excuse for West and Paul's game tonight. They must make better decisions and execute by making their shots, and Paul made bad choices once he did make it into the lane.
Dallas gave the hornets a piece of their own medicine. When NO's shot wasn't falling, they were out rebounded (-9), which is the opposite of the first two games. That give Dallas the opportunity to push the ball on the break, and that leads to transition baskets, or FT's (13 v 38 FT disparity). Dallas attacked, and reaped the benefits.
The other thing that bothered me about this game was the officiating. It was too inconsistent.
With the poor game by the hornets, they kept this game close until the final minutes. That's a big problem for Dallas. CP and West, the two best offensive weapons, were a combined 8-30 (27%). Their bench didn't show up, with the exception of Pargo. TC was in foul trouble early. The refs were inconsistent. All of this was the perfect opportunity for Dallas to take a game, and they did. Terry was big in this game, and I was afraid of him getting into this series.
Dirk just reinforced my opinion of him. He was fouled on a jumpshot by West who hit him on the wrist, and Dirk falls backwards on his ass. This happened later in the game too. Dirk hits the floor more than his own shoes. He is the biggest pu$$y over seven feet since Shawn Bradley.

A very agressive pu$$y at the boards tonight :D
The Refs were horrible.

Chandler was pushing dampier how was he scared???He was protecting his player because dampier tried to take him out of the gm.
12/01 Mavs +6 in fouls
12/14 Hornets +2 in fouls
2/20 Mavs +1 in fouls
4/16 Hornets +4 in fouls
Game 1 Hornets +2 in fouls
Game 2 Mavs +3 in fouls
Game 3 Hornets +11 in fouls
Looking these stats up just made me more confident the Hornets will win in 5.

How is TC scared when he ran right up to him after that Paul foul? If he was scared, he wouldn't have even approached him.

ur right he pushes a guy 5'11 to prove something.I would get shaq to beat his ass.LMAO "I am the 2nd best center in the league"LMFAO.
A very agressive pu$$y at the boards tonight :D
I think it was more bad positioning by the hornets than effort. Dallas did look more energetic when going after rebounds, but a lot of the time it was the hornets being boxed out better, and being in bad spots for the offensive boards. TC was also playing limited minutes in the first half when he's their biggest rebounder.

If the dallas fans count on CP3 to go 4-17 and west to miss about 10 open jumpers in gm4 they better start worrying.
It doesn't matter wat he saad just mentioning his grandpa is disrepectful.
Dude, the Mavs didn't say anything about Paul's grandfather. Julius Hodge from NC State when Paul was in college said something and Chris Paul knocked him in the jewels for it. Quit getting all hot and bothered over the Mavs when you have no idea what happened.

:wtf: There was nothing to prove. Paul hit one of Dampiers teammates. Dampier responds. This happens at every level of every sport. You can hit, you can be hit. Just because Paul is smaller dosen't make him inept to getting his ass knocked to ground. You have a mentality that seems to have never developed to fit the sport you are watching. These are not little kids. These are grown ass men. Stop using his height as a crutch.

Dallas fans count on Dirk going 32/19/6 in game 4 again :D
The Hornets also looked like they lacked the same amount of energy they played with in games 1 and 2.
