barkley was voted ahead of the great Elgin Baylor ( original MJ/Kobe )
shut it down bro. its over
Baylor.. very close though between him and a few others (Petit/Isiah/Mikan)
Bob Pettit
Baylor
Scottie Pippen.
If Barkley and Malone are on here, then Dirk should be here at this point.
This is ridiculous... watch videos of Baylor and tell me he's better than Dirk :facepalm
The correct answer is Dirk Nowitzki (he should be higher than Barkley actually).
The thing about ring value is. Its not a fluke if a star wins 4-5 rings. You can get lucky once sure. Maybe even twice. But 5 times? Maybe as a role player. But not as a star averaging 25-30
And kobe is one of the most skilled players ever And the most accomplished. So i dont really understand why people insult kobe by saying its just the rings.
Dirk has done something Kobe has never done, in terms of carrying an otherwise subpar team to a title and most importantly a decade of being contenders (whereas Kobe without a great team... we've all seen how good that is). Guy is one of the most consistent players of his era, if anyone is above the "fluke" argument it's him you dim-witted retard.

Baylor is better

So we are going to now start equating Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Shawn Marion, Peja Stojankovic, Tyson Chandler, and JJ Barea to Smush Parker, Lamar Odom, Brian Cook, Devean George, and Kwame Brown?
The truth is Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks organization have done an amazing job in the last 12 years building teams with talent to contend. It definitely was not Dirk's defense, rebounding, and it was only him hitting threes that carried maintained the competitiveness of the Mavericks for years or sustained a championship team.

How is Isiah close to Pettit, Baylor, or Mikan?
I'm willing to bet you can't explain that, since none of the posters who have voted for Isiah since #14 was up for debate when I ask.
Probably because the truth is, he's not in the same league as those 3 players in terms of individual dominance, and his career achievements are not vast enough to make up the difference.
