They don't actually, JG000. About a third of the league actually underlists their height. Tim Duncan is listed 6'11", is actually 6'11.5", and in shoes is closer to 7'1".

Incorrect. His height was listed as 6 -7 3/4. You have to realize that Americans fail badly at the metric system. He was listed as 2.03m which is in fact 6-7 3/4.

Bird always struck me as being closer to 6'10" than 6'9". He was at least 6'9.5" imo. Magic was probably between 6'7.5-6'8" tall.
Why i wonder is because Magic was the tallest player ever to start PG....
