I feel your list but most of them are pioneers. Kool Herc and Theodore, no one has Joe Fulks or Bob Davies in a top ten NBA list. Now Bambaataa and Flash yeah.

Diddy is influential but in the grand scheme of hip-hop is he important? Where is he really without the Biggie?
Will Smith and Queen Latifah are big names as well and I can't knock you for choosing them I just think that the people who were blessed to be there first and actually [I]create[/I] styles and conventions are [I]most[/I] important.

Wow... just wow. I understand if some may not consider Eminem a GOAT MC but to leave him off a top 10 most important list is insane! Even guys like Rakim have spoken about the impact he's had on the game. The bridge he's created for whites to find hip hop. He's BY FAR the most IMPORTANT rapper of all time if you talk about the impact he had on the game and how he changed perception and the fanbase. Only close rapper is Tupac.
