Unlike you I don't have a history of posting love/hate comments about Kobe. Go through my entire post history and tell me when I acted or defended Kobe like a dickrider.
As for what you witness, if you don't have any specific proofs or examples that he CONSTANTLY gets away with barking at refs during games, then your opinion is just that an opinion. And from what you have shown over the years, a pretty biased one when it comes to Kobe.
Maybe you can provide some tape showing him deserving 10 techs in the course of one game. :confusedshrug:
IMO, not seeing something as OBVIOUS as his constant whining shows bias. It's one of those things that's not about bias, but about just observing the game with your own two eyes. I've seen plenty of "neutral" people comment on it, so it's not just so called biase people that do so.
Secondly, when did I say he deserved 10 techs during the course of one game? :confusedshrug: I stated that he doesn't get as many techs as he should. I didn't say anything on a per game basis.
And obviously I didn't write down every incident where he didn't get T'd up, that's ridiculous. However, maybe I'll do so for the upcoming season, though people would still deny it so what's the point? People deny that Bryant quit in that Game 7 when you can just watch the game and see it clear as day. So why would his fanatics EVER concede he should get more techs even with video evidence?
do you guys prefer kobe to dance rather than to scowl and look serious all the time? jesus
As a Lakers' fan I don't want to see any dancing until the Championship Parade.
Before that it's all about business.
Some of the posts in this thread really make me question if some of you suffer from a deep seeded depression or intense feelings of insecurity and cope with these shortcomings by channeling all your negative energy into a hatred for Kobe Bryant.
well, watch Kobe get stripped or lose the ball ....hell flail his arm, punch the air .. scream at the ref ,more often than any player w/o getting a tech most of the time.
Its not big deal to me, it doent make me dislike him or anything .. but he is one of the biggest babies when it comes to making mistake on offense. its just pretty clear to see...and I can see how it can rub people the wrong way.
Uh, ever hear of exaggerating movements to draw a foul?
I don't like to make mistakes on offense either, and Kobe is on a different level when it comes to competition.
Complaining to refs is something that superstars can get away with, and though I don't agree with the way Kobe yells at them, letting the ref know what to look for will always give you an advantage.

How did Lebron get into this thread? Man you guys are so lame. Any thing about Kobe and you guys always try to put Bron down to make Kobe look better. GTFO.
Why wouldn't a 32 year old veteran be more mature than a 25 year old? Why not compare him to someone worth while.
According to you he was focused on nothing cause he had a blank stare,
but he was super focused on trying to ignore Chris Rock? :confusedshrug:
Not once did I say ignore. Stop quoting me before you read.
Not once did I say ignore. Stop quoting me before you read.
So why was he trying so hard to stare at nothing when Chris Rock was talking then?

It's always better than spewing your bias and pretend that proofs won't matter because of some fanatics.
The guy is in the spotlight of millions of people. I would be amazed at anyone's actions not being contrived when placed in that situation. Dumb thread.
Did I mention LeBron? GTFO or quote the right person.
Can you read?
A post can be directed at more than one person. I quoted you because that was funny and then I asked a general question.

Says the guy who brought up Jordan in one of his first posts in the thread. :facepalm
You can be express emotions without being contrived. Stop being a dumbass. Those two are actually the inverse of each other. It's impossible TO convey true emotions when they are all contrived.
How do you know which emotions are contrived or not? More importantly, why does it matter?
It seems like people always want to point out irrelevant flaws in another because they hate that aspect in themselves, it's like a reflection of insecurity.
It's obvious Kobe had a difficult time developing his social skills at an early age due to his nerd-like obsession with the game of basketball. The man isn't exactly the most charming human being, but he's not doing a bad job of trying not to be full of contrivance, either.
Sure do it. Proof never hurt anybody. It's always better than spewing your bias and pretend that proofs won't matter because of some fanatics.
You are stupid. It's common knowledge that he berates the refs and gets the least punishment while other players who have garnered a rep cannot utter a single word without one coming(sheed). Why ask for proof? You do watch the games right? In fact, I have seen where Fisher or another teammate of his gets a tech instead of Kobe. Keep pretending as if you don't know what he's talking about.
Says the guy who brought up Jordan in one of his first posts in the thread. :facepalm

That's why they bag on Jordan all the time. Oh, wait...
:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm
There were two Jordan posts before mine, try again.
Though I was a Kobe fan when he came into the league, he did seem somewhat fake, but I had absoulute no problems with that. By fake I don't mean completely copying Jordan's moves and manerisms, but also in the "I'm fearless" kind of talk that other people talk about Jordan. It was as if he was forcing himself, or trying to live a fantasy that he's Michael Jordan. It's really hard to explain, and though it all seems negative, I'm really not knocking him for it. Really hard to explain, just that Kobe didn't feel natural, original. Again, I had no bias towards Kobe then, but there was this commercial back then where he's talking about his creativity, and not having any bias, actually being a fan it kind of threw me off. I thought it was a weird commercial, since I didn't associate Kobe with originality.
It makes sense that a person with that type of personality is successful in the NBA.
