That's your choice. But just for you to know: You'd still be an as*hole saying these types of things about yourself, regardless of the circumstances.
How come there have been a great many people contributing to humankind a lot more than LeBron has or ever will, and they didn't have to say these things about themselves?
I'm not hating on LeBron, but you have to be really 'strange' to talk about yourself te way he does. It is a not-so-minor personality disorder.

some are funny
some are taken out context
some are cocky and arrogant but to be the best in the NBA, you really have to have a swagger about yourself that no one else can touch

Can't you be someone like Hakeem, Duncan or Magic? Or at least as funny as Shaq while saying these outrageous things that everyone knows you are just kidding?
Noone could touch the aforementioned guys at one point in their respective careers and they didn't have to behave like this. BTW, all of them had more proof under their belt about their greatness.

duncan, magic and hakeem were all cocky too. they just chose to display their arrogance in different ways.
shaq is one the most arrogant players ever.... the man's ego outweighed his whole body weight.

It's not the arrogance about LeBron. It's his sheer stupidity. It is one thing to call yourself the Diesel or the Big Aristotle or even say "they can't guard me", than it is to say some of the things qouted in this thread from LeBron James.
And once again: All these players had a lot more to be cocky about (and I think they all were less cocky).
