Can Anyone Give Me an Explanation Other than Steroids For Dwyane Wade's Jaw?

i have no comment or idea on whether or not it's a natural growth, but Wade's jaw definitely got ridiculous in recent years.

in fact, him and lebron have insane jaws. both of those guys, the bottom half of their heads are much wider than the top half, it's definitely weird.

you can definitely see it in the bottom picture...

Of course the jaw doesn't really show that much when you're skinny.

the thing is, it's not like you have to hunt for pictures with weird shadows or where he's looking down or something like that like to show that his jaw was smaller when he was younger. He plain looks different. I could go post some film of him from college and it'd be plain as day throughout the whole thing. I had a post with a bunch of pictures of him from college, and it's not like I was cherry picking pictures where his jaw was less emphasized. I just googled "dwyane wade marquette" and posted all the pictures of decent quality that came up. The kid in those pictures looks noticeably different from Dwyane Wade.

wade went from 205lbs to about 230/235lbs. to say his face looks widder/thicker would just support the fact that he's put on 25 odd lbs.
he went from being built like a basketball player to being built like a football player in just 3-4 short years in the league. go look at football players and you'll see how thick their necks and jaws are.

you can draw a straight line essentially for both from the top of the head to the jaw hinge point.

well they all prolly take hgh too. And Wade is big, but he is not football player big.

It's not like Wade's the only basketball player to ever put on muscle, but most other guys don't morph into chipmunks.

he's 6'4 and 235lbs. has there ever been a player at the weight with his height?

he's essentially the karl malone of shooting guards.

I've noticed the change too, but always thought it was just him aging. Look at the way Lebron has aged as well. As you age you tend to gain weight.. and on top of that these guys lift weight..etc.

Wade is 235lbs? Damn I didn't realize he was that big. I always figured he was in the 215-220 range. Guess you gotta be built to take all that contact. Amazing that he's as agile as he is....even at 29 and supposedly at the end of his prime lol

235 is monstrous. That's nearly the same weight as Amar'e. If he really plays at that weight, no wonder he dominates, but I think he plays at a lower weight.
