Boston should get first pick, although I'm sure (if he has a choice) he'll go somewhere with a better shot at a ring.
He's not the answer here. What the Celtics need badly is some athleticism. Not more old players that can barely play on the rear end of back-to-backs. I would honestly love to see the team bring in guys that were even completely unskilled but could run jump and finish. Unleash Rondo, jack up the tempo and see what happens. But the current roster full of old isn't going to win, and adding even more old won't help.

QFT
No more old guy pls.
I guess I'll throw my thought into the ring of things that are unrealistic...
I'd love to see him come home and play for the Sixers. If he's in shape!
I think a nice veteran presence would help this group and if he could give them 10-15 minutes off the bench for Doug, he'd be a nice fit to back up Spence and Brand as well as giving young Nik some nuggets of information for playing defense in this league and perfecting his game.

I DON'T think that has a chance of happening but I can see him landing in NY rather than the popular places like LA and Miami.
Bet he could still shut down Dwight at his current age.
i definitely don't want a 3 pt chucking over the hill big...
he plays good D tho but i can't stand bigs that don't play the paint much.
Woj: Rasheed Wallace mulling NBA return
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_rasheed_wallace_nba_return_011212
who wants him or which contender he can help?
I would love for him to play on Lakers
I doubt he wants to go to the lakers after losing 2 game 7s to them in his career, he probably hates them more than any other team :lol
the bulls can get him if we wanted to.
Someone should sign these guys:
C. Ostertag
PF. R. Wallace
SF. A. Walker
SG. Allen Iverson
PG. Gilbert Arenas
That's a decent bench?
I think part of the CBA they fought over so hard last year should've been that if you announce your retirement, you can never, ever play in the NBA again. I hate flip-floppers.
That would be dumb. Some guys really need to take time away from the game (ex Yao & Roy).

other than Ostertag and Rasheed, that could be a all time chucker team.
LAKERS!!! Do it! :D
That would be dumb. Some guys really need to take time away from the game (ex Yao & Roy).
Well, Yao is done.
Roy is :confusedshrug:
He'll come back to end his career on his own terms, not a hastened retirement with Portland management threatening him with a bench role or amnesty clause and doctors saying he needs to retire ASAP when the idea was he could keep playing for a few more years but not at the same level.
What if the Lakers signed Sheed, JR Smith and K-Mart? Along with Barnes and Artest (not quite as much anymore with Artest)... so much thug coming off the bench.
Everyone wants him. That's who.
I'm surprised he would comeback this early in the season.
Everyone? Not even the Celtics want him, and he's been rumored to be returning to the C's ever since he left the game.
