That isn't a big three. Sam Cassell wasn't a "star" caliber player.

Most of the guys listed aren't big threes.

Blaylock, Smith, Mutombo - mid 90's
Is it just me or this is what's supposed to be a big three? Because you know three great players and, 6'9, 6'10, 7' (all at least)

Russell/Havlicek/Cousy
Malone/Stockton/Hornacek

:facepalm Sam Cassell was one of the best PG's in the game and yes that was a legit big 3. If anything Robinson was the weakest link of that trio.

Cassell was a star to me back in that day
Hardaway, Mourning, & Mashburn :confusedshrug:
Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor
(definitely the first one of super-star status)
Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Gail Goodrich
(this should also count, they won a ring and Goodrich was prime all-star caliber at the time)
Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Jordan, Pippen, Rodman
Jordan, Pippen, Grant
Is this a serious post? Who the fuck forgot any Jordan, any Magic or any Chamberlain/West trios? Get the hell outta here.
Bosh, Wade and Joel Anthony
Shaq, Williams, Varejao
And how in the world are Jackson/Oneal/Peja a trio when Oneal only played 16 games with Peja? And Peja was there for only half the season, which came to an end in the 1st round.
Some people really need to try and understand what a big three is, it isnt just the three best players on any given team...
You should try watching basketball before making posts. That Indiana team was poised to do some major damage with that trio, but Jackson wore out his welcome.
I don't think Horace Grant made that a big 3.
Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Joe Johnson?
Who? You mean Shawn Marion.
Kevin Johnson, Charles Barkley, Tom Chambers
1993 Suns(Lost to Jordan's Bulls in the Finals)
Who? You can't mean Tom Chambers. He was on the bench by then. Dan Majerle, ok.
Baron Davis, Jamal Mashburn, Jamal McGlore :applause:
It sucked that Baron and Mashburn were never healthy at the same time though.
