Then if Dirk is 7 feet tall how can you claim that Durant is 7 feet tall when Dirk clearly has at least an inch or two on him?

One, Melo appears taller than Iggy in the photo. Two, they aren't standing next to one another, making camera deception more plausible.

I just don't think you're taking spacial relationship and angles seriously enough. You're also feeding the idiotic Durant fanboys with the 50th thread like this in this offseason alone. Durant is 6'9 or 6'10 tops, not 7 feet tall.

The notion that every photo with Durant appearing definitively taller than players measured at 6-10 w/shoes is somehow captured in a manner that makes his height deceptive, or that I'm not taking the laws of depth perception into account is asinine and ridiculous. Durant has grown an inch since he was 18, is that so implausible?

One may be talking in the others ear but the only one who is changing his head angle is Dirk. And even with changing his head angle he is still taller. Not to mention the fact that Durant is in the forefront on both pictures.

durant has definitely grown, id say hes a little taller

again that picture doesn't prove anything.

Kevin Love is listed at 6-10 while Durant is still listed at 6-9. If Love is 6-10 then Durant is 6-11.

I specifically remember someone pointing this exact same thing out to you in a Charles Barkley height thread (I think) where you were using pictures to prove your point. You may have gone back and acknowledged your mistake in not taking footwear into consideration, but I'm finding it a bit ironic that you're now calling someone else out for the same thing.

Anyway, Duran't isn't 7-feet tall. He might be pushing 6'11" in shoes and right at 6'10" w/o shoes, but he's not a legit 7-feet tall. Why does it matter anyway? Why do we need a thread about this every week or two?

Why are people posting their heights without shoes, and using pics of them with shoes on as comparison?
