I never really got why ray allen has been made out to be a saint ... I think there are plenty of other guys in the league who are more genuine and nicer than him anyway.

he was the saint because he was the anti-Kobe. They were something of arch-enemies.
Always quiet, reserved, professional. Kobe was the more brash, Colorado, etc.

It's like, just move on bitches, Ray been classy, moved on, didn't say anything but thank the Celtics organization and the city of Boston.
As a Celtic fan I think everyone needs to just move on. It's only our organization that is saying anything. Ray who is my favorite player in the league and has been since his Bucks days and will be till the day he retires and he hasn't said a thing and likely won't, so everyone needs to just shut up and move on.

The Celtics played (by far) their best basketball of the year when they moved Ray to the bench and started Avery Bradley. So if this is true, I guess Ray cares about his touches and pride more than winning. What a shame...

Allen never did a job on Bryant....if anything it was Bryant playing his normal average games against an average defender trying his best. In a sense he was the best the Celtics had at times when guys like Allen (the other one) was resting.
