Well since Magic got all his accolades as a Laker which earned him by majority of people in the world a top 4 best player of all time spot i cant help but wonder why this is debatable?

Magic made the guys around him better. You can't say that about Kobe. In the end, that will define what greatness truly is. Kobe might be a better offensive talent, but it doesn't mean jack sh*t if the guys around him suffer as a result. Ask Iverson.

If that many believe that Kobe is the GOAT Laker and greater than Magic, why is the vast majority of fans still feeling insulted when Kobe is straightly compared to Jordan or is called the overall GOAT? Although most pick Jordan over Magic, I hardly ever meet anyone who feels this comparison is ridiculous/not even close, unlike Kobe vs Jordan.
