Ridiculous really....if he does manage to stay relatively health for most of his career,he will be the goat 3pt shooter.probably breaking ray's record like a boss with 45%...
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
bit too early to talk about career especially regarding a kid. Wait 5-10 years then see whether he is a bench warmer or role player

You think glass ankles is going to be the first option of the team in 5-10years? give me a break he won't last as a first option for more then 5 years MAX.
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
Well, I hope you're wrong. And this is year he wasn't hit by injuries, maybe those times are over
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
Hope he does break it, he is the best 3 point shooter in the nba and will go down as the best ever.

Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
well even if he does becomes a role player someday he will still be a reliable perimeter shooter. dudes gonna break records if he keeps his ankles safe. With a 3 point shot like his it's gonna keep him in the league for another good 10years at least, barring any career ending injury.
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
dat stroke! go curry, i believe in you!!
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
I donnow just don't come back and ask me to bump this thread about glass ankles in few years time. I never believe in forgotten injuries especially if you become a bigger star and people play harder on you.
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
Stephen Curry is the best three point shooter of all time to me already, followed closely by Reggie Miller. He's very good at :
- Shooting it off the dribble
- Shooting it off a screen
- Shooting it on a fastbreak (instead of a layup)
- Sudden stop and pullup three (a la Steve Nash)
- Crossover the shit out of you and hit the three (Reggie Miller and Ray Allen couldn't do this)
- Quickest release in the NBA
- Great Range.
Only thing he's yet to prove is how clutch he can be under pressure in a playoff type situation. Miller was the best of all time here.
Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
Stephen Curry is Ray Allen part 2.
Eventually he may lose a step or two but he will still be a great shooter off the bench or starting....as a role player in his 30s.

Re: Will Stephen Curry break Ray Allen's single season 3 point record?
I wonder if he'll break the single game record one of these days? With the way he catches fire I can see him hitting more than 12.
