Re: What bike are you riding?
Yes imo. I ride a small japanese folding bike to work and it has shimano gears and breaks on it. Works pretty good as far as i can tell. Never had any problem with them since i had it 3 years ago.
Good thing but I think I'm wrong tho; shimano's actually a supplier of bike parts, components, etc. and not an actual bike brand. I'm just new to this biking stuff so idk much about them yet.
Now i've been thinking of buying a trinx mtb in the future so i could upgrade the old, surplus japanese bike my parents bought for me in my last birthday.
Re: What bike are you riding?
Wanted a new bike for... forever now. Was going to finally get one this year. Will be the first purchase after corona dies down (I'd want to try a lot of bikes out before buying a good one).

Re: What bike are you riding?
I am a long term mountain biker, and have multiple bikes.
The proper answer for how many bikes do you need is: n+1. :oldlol:
I have built several up.
This is my single speed roadie which I built after getting the 1969 era frame off of eBay.

I bought a big bmx bike on Friday. It’s just a bmx bike with 26 inch tires pretty much. A buddy of mine told me about them last week. I was looking around and they were sold out everywhere but I finally found a place that had some. It’s super fun.
Huffy bike :ohwell:

Re: What bike are you riding?
I ride a mountain bike. This choice is due to frequent riding on mountain and forest trails, broken roads, and participation in cross-country competitions. Based on my preferences, I chose the amateur version of the mountain bike. Maybe in a couple of years, I will switch to a professional model. Although mountain bikes are equipped with wide tires, a reliable braking system, and one or two shock absorbers, they can also be damaged or broken. My mountain bike model is called a hardtail. It is quite expensive to maintain. That's why I prefer to buy bike insurance and prevent unplanned expenses.
Re: What bike are you riding?
I have a hard tail giant talon. Nothing special or expensive.
Re: What bike are you riding?
I sold my car over a year ago and been bike-exclusive and it sucks most of the time. Rain is an issue, humidity and sweating buckets happens in the summer and most American cities just aren't built for bikers. Getting around on Miami on a bike is a mission, and not a fun one at all.

Is the brand name of your bike SPAM?
