he just wants out of Minny because it sucks there. That is number 1.

The Lakers are not that good these days that they should turn down a player of Love's caliber. Our team is bottom-feeder, man. Even with a healthy (but mind you, 37 year old) Kobe and the rest of the present lineup... a borderline playoff team... if that.
I don't really like Kevin Love's game, but at least he is passionate and a instant upgrade. Not a Laker for life or anything close to that, but for a solid 3-4 years... sure. When Bryant retires, management must blow up everything anyway.

That's just it though, I don't think love is a high caliber player at all..
Rather go for melo, if not then try our luck in the draft..
At least we didn't get stuck with dwight:lol
Buss is an idiot so I'm not expecting miracles..
Wolves need to try and get a top 5 pick in this draft for him if they're smart.
Wolves should have made this trade before the season, but better late than never.
I don't know why they would want draft picks. They can't really bottom out and their history of doing anything with picks...even when they hit one...is terrible.
They should move Love/Brewer to the Warriors for Lee/Barnes/Green.
Curry
Thompson
Iggy
Love
Bogut
Brewer/Speights/Crawford/Blake/Backup center
Way better than what they currently have.
Minny would get to run out;
Rubio
Martin
Barnes
Lee
Pek
Barea/Green/Buddinger/Dieng/Moute
Both teams are just way better in my opinion.

Well, I think Melo is a high scoring, skilled loser who doesn't really give a fcuk, and I think Kevin Love is a high scoring, high rebounding skilled and passionate loser. So I'd side with Love, who probably comes cheaper and is younger.

No thanks we're keeping Draymond. Seriously. They can keep Brewer.

Do Warriors fans love him that much?
That you would turn down Kevin Love if you were forced to give up Draymond Green?
It's not really about the player in Brewer...it's that the Wolves would really want to shed either the Brewer or Buddinger deal in any Love trade.
When you have a core of Curry/Thompson/Iggy/Bogut....and you could land Love...you don't worry about Draymond Green. I like him, but you don't worry about him.
Now...would you rather do Love/Buddinger for Lee/Iggy? So you keep Barnes/Green...
Why should the Lakers get Westbrook and Love? Is there a line in the NBA rule book that says the Lakers must always be privileged with success?
Why shouldn't they get Westbrook and Love?
Does their past success mean they should take their ball and go home?
Woj comes through in the clutch  :

Not as number 1 option but 2nd? Hell yes.

How does Love make them better over Lee?
Defense? No, he's worse.
Rebounding? Not really when he plays next Bogut.
Passing? No; Lee is better in the halfcourt
Lee's post game is superior as well, and gets tough buckets when they need it. Love would be another soft jump shooter, which they dont need. They have enough guys jacking up 3s
Don't trade draft pick for a guy with an expiring contract
If Love is going to cost the Lakers their first, then they'd be better off going after Monroe. Keep the pick and draft Smart/Vonleh instead (unless the pick is top 3).
